"Do you need a hand?" Taehyung asked when she saw Irene carrying stack of boxes that passed her height.
"No." Irene ignored the man. Taehyung smiled shortly but still following Irene.
"What are you doing here?" Irene asked. Her assistant was on leave and she had no one to ask to pick up her package since it's lunch time.
"Meeting with my father, I'm the proxy. He was sick." Taehyung replied waiving a folder infront of Irene that has the project's name.
"Are you serious?" Irene scoffed. Taehyung gulped when Irene said that.
"I am." He replied while fixing his tie. Wasn't I looking professional? I wore my favorite suit.
"How are you supposed to know what Mr. Kim and I had talked about on prior meetings?" Irene asked like Taehyung was the most stupid person she ever knew.
"I studied it." Taehyung replied and Irene looked at him like he was a joke.
"Why? You had minutes of meetings and recordings even. Well, I took time studying it before showing up here." Taehyung added. Irene rolled her eyes thinking that this man will only waste her time but still, she won't kick him out without giving a chance.
"Follow me at the conference room." Irene coldy said as she brings her laptop. Taehyung nervously followed the lady.
Irene sat at the other side of the conference table while Taehyung dumbly sit near her. She arched her eyebrow.
"What?" Taehyung asked innocently.
"Right, I'm sorry I just thought there'll be more people coming." He said and sat at the other end, starting his laptop.
"Don't waste my time." Irene said and Taehyung felt intimidated. Irene when it comes to work was a different person who's obviously allergic to imperfections.
"Sure, just booting the laptop." Taehyung nervously chuckled.
Irene didn't listen and he just let Taehyung set up the projector and everything. Afterall, the man would be the one to present their ideas and platform since they are the one who initiate this business proposal.
"Good day, Ms. Bae." Taehyung adjusted his voice, much more confident and professional. Irene took a glance and her gaze were piercing that makes Taehyung wobble his knees but the man was too good at hiding it.
"Previously, my father talked about how this build-"
"I knew exactly what happened last time. You don't have to tell it to me. Now, please get straight to the point." Irene said. Taehyung had his mouth hang open but he smiled.
"The financial status of our company drastically turned upward since we opened a building that is available for commercial usage. This time, seeking a new target market, an eco friendly condominium building at the middle of Seoul. It would no use energy from fossils or charcoals that worsens the climate change and brings more scarcity but would be powered from the combination of wind mills and solar panels-" and he continued. Irene was impressed if she's being honest. She was intrigued at the project. She was the top investor that the Kims were actually looking forward.
Taehyung was confident and he knew exactly what was he talking about. Plus, their business image wasn't bad, far from it actually. They are not a typical aggressive tycoons that valued money the most. They care for people, they care for people that are unheard mostly, that's why Irene gave it a try with Mr. Kim. Right now, Irene was convince but ofcourse, she wasn't someone who is impulsive to make decisions right away when it's not necessary.
"Thank you, leave the documents. I'll study them by myself. Make sure it indicates all the things I should know." Irene said putting her pen down.
"R-really?" Taehyung asked, he wasn't sure what Irene was feeling towards him, professionally. Irene just stared at her for a second and starts walking exiting
