Irene didn't like to be with Bogum. That's why they selected two rooms found in different floors for this business trip. She had to clear her mind as Lisa was always messing on her brain. The only reason she was here because she was appointed by their head supervisor and had to take the responsibilities.
"Damn you, Manoban" Irene sighed. She was confused to the point that it made her bring a bottle of wine in the roof top despite of knowing she had presentation tomorrow early morning.
"You're making my life complicated" she sips on her wine.
Then she remembered their kiss, kisses. It was really strange and addicting. There's something on it that will make you want it more. That you'll find yourself wanting it in any minute. Irene shook her head. That's when she notice someone was standing behind her. It was Seulgi.
"W-what are you doing here?" Irene was out of words.
"I saw you walking upstairs. I just wanna make sure you are safe" Seulgi said. Irene look at her in disbelief.
"Don't be so full on yourself. I did not follow you. I'm also in a business trip. You know, you're not the only one who's allowed to" Seulgi playfully rolled her eyes. It made Irene chuckle.
"Why do you wanna make sure I am safe?" Irene asked. She thought Seulgi didn't want anything to do with her since the time that Seulgi saw Lisa kissed her. Since then, Seulgi didn't bother Irene anymore. Seulgi take a sit on the bench in front of her.
"Well, let's just say. I've been inloved with you. I think, I still am but I'm trying to forget. I know you already like someone. My point is, you matter to me even if I don't to you" Seulgi said as she grab the wine glass from Irene.
"You're wrong on that part" Irene said.
"Which part?"
"That you don't matter to me" Irene look at Seulgi.
"I give you importance. I give you love. It's just not the way that you wanted from me. After all, you've done nothing on me but to be kind, well a little bit annoying. Oh, who I am kidding, you could be really super when you wanted to but you are harmless. Whether you believe it or not, like it or not, accept it or not, I consider you as one of my genuine friends" Irene sighed. Finally, she explained herself.
"Great speech for announcing a friend zone" Seulgi chuckled earning a playful hit on her shoulder from Irene.
Silence.
Birds humming.
Cold breeze of wind. Seulgi opened her mouth.
"One time, I was following you. About to bother you again for another chance. Then I saw you and Lisa. Staring at each other all cheesy and sweet. Like you're in your own world, not caring on everyone. I was confused. Yeah, It was really romantic that I almost squeal out of romantic excitement but I realize she's my rival. I was about to walk towards you guys. But ... but I saw you smile so brightly. Stalking you for quite sometime, I knew you don't smile like that to anyone or you don't give it to anyone atleast. It was a first and you gave it to her. That's when I knew it's over and I have to respect your feelings. I shred tears until now" Seulgi stared at void. She's hurt too.
"I'm sorry. I didn't knew it was that hard for you"
"Don't be. We can't choose who we love"
"The only difference between me and you, is I took the chance. And I got rejected. I won't have any regrets"
"Love? Isn't it a big word?" Irene laugh nervously.
"I don't even know if she feels the same way. That woman is full of secrets. You can't enter her mind." Irene drunk from the wine bottle.
