How was your experience with love?
With Lisa, it would be kind of tragic. Irene was her love, her great right love but with wrong timing. With all odds against them, she decided to let go.
"Everytime you'll tell me start your story, I want to knock out some senses to you, you are weird." Lia said after chugging half of her water.
"Everytime I'll see your face, I want to get my vengeance on you, for Jennie." Lisa deadpanned.
"You don't have to say that!" Lia whined.
"You know, that one day, when the time comes, I'll apologize with her and to Jisoo. I'm just collecting some courage."
"Yep, and you should clear your name about the bomb threat during their reception." Lisa said.
"I know. I completely understand that I was the main suspect." Lia said.
"There are uncleaned tables! What are you doing right there?! Can't you see that it's working hours!" Mr. Ramon said.
Lisa came back at Thailand, at the place where she thought she belongs. The surprising part? Lia had followed her. The younger lady had learned about Lisa's illness. Initially, Lia thought that she will take care of Lisa as an apology towards Jennie. Later on, a different kind of bond has bloom between the two of them. Founded by regrets? Self-pity? Atleast a friendship has born.
Lisa chuckled when she saw Lia rolled her eyes. They've been working as waitress and a dishwasher at a local Thai restaurant. They earn just enough to survive few days, and it was okay. They had found comfort at the simplicity but ofcourse, they knew there is something that is lacking. With Lia, it was forgivess. With Lisa, it was someone who had a certain name.
"Coming, sorry!" Lia said faking her innocent voice. Afterall, there are habits she couldn't let go. She was still pretentious. The least she can do is to not use it to harm other people.
"Lia and her personalities." Lisa shook her head and continue on wiping the plates. Sometimes, she wonders if what will Jennie think if she had learned that she had been friend with Lia.
"What's up?" Bambam greeted her, he was the assistant chef.
"Hey, bammie" Lisa softly smiled.
"You need a hand?"
No, nothing that I can't manage."
"Okay, good to know." Bambam said and went back on his station.
Only a liar would tell that Lisa didn't became more beautiful as the time goes by. Despite of choosing a more simple life, she had the exploding beauty. That's why it wasn't new that some people will always hit on her. The main reason she was a dishwasher, instead of a waitress or a cashier.
It was kind of funny when she first applied for a job, the employer thought she was asking for an office position in which there are no vacancy. She wasn't. She said she was only looking for a simple job. The employer said she was overqualified but she begged. So there she was, doing her best keeping the kitchen clean.
"Lisa, can we grab some boba tea or something?" Lia asked as she stuff her bag with left overs from the restaurant.
"Are you sure you want to take that home? It's not like you're really poor or something." Lisa asked. Lia was still rich, at first, she was just feeling pity at Lisa working alone so she applied as well for a job at the same place. Eventually, she learned to love what she do.
Lia's wealth wasn't from Jisub's illegal activities. It was from the estate her parents left them. She could live her life thousand times without getting poor.
