Irene's PoV
"Uhm, hi? Is everything alright?" Lisa asked as she walked near us. I can't move from where I was standing. Her voice sounded a little bit different, it was more relax and confident.
"Yep, we're just having a sibling talk" Yeri saved me. Ofcourse! She had to! It was her fault why I was being a mess!
"Right?" Yeri asked me and I could feel Lisa's gaze averted into mine. I couldn't look into her eyes without crying. I know I hurt her big time. The truth was, I'm prepared to get slap tonight the moment I saw her figure.
"Uhhh, yes" I managed to smile. I was torn between; to runaway from here or stay and obvserve how much she had changed.
"Cool, I just thought something bad happened because I heard screams and other immature whines" Lisa said and Yeri stifled a laugh. She became straightforward. I furrowed my eyebrows when she said immature whines. That was me right?
"We're alright, right Irene unnie?" Yeri said emphasizing my name but Lisa seemed not to care about it.
"Yes" I shortly said.
"Okay, let's go back to the hall and have f-" Lisa stopped talking and chuckled.
"Fuck, how rude of me not to introduce myself. I forgot' sorry, I'm Lisa Manoban, Jisoo's bestfriend" she offered her hand and my younger sister, Yeri quickly touched it giving plenty of squeeze. Yeri's eyes had full of amazement. When does Lisa started swearing?
"Yeri, Jisoo's cousin" Yeri said.
"You're Jennie's ex right?" Yeri said unconsciously. I want to put a tape on her mouth.
"Yep, but it wasn't awkward I swear. We talked it out" Lisa laughed. Luckily, she didn't got offended by Yeri's statement.
"You're funny" Yeri commented.
"Thanks"
"And how about you, What's your name Miss?" Lisa asked me, her question was for me. I looked at Yeri. She was confused as well.
"Errm. Hello? I'm talking to you" Lisa playfully said.
"I'm Irene Bae, Jisoo's cousin and Yeri's sister" I said and she offered her hand. I looked at it, intensely.
My gaze averted on her face. Gorgeous. She was a woman herself now. Ofcourse, a lot of things happened in four years. Now, I'm face to face with the only woman I loved. Loved. I had no feelings towards her anymore but the guilt was always on me up to this date.
Questions run on my mind. Did she forget me, literally? Or is this her way getting back on me? I'm confused.
Her hand was still there waiting for a quick handshake but I can't help myself not to feel sad and disappointed. What happened on her? What was she planning?
Nonetheless I found my right hand being squeeze shortly by Lisa's slender fingers. It was warm and soft. It felt like it has magic as I felt my stomach felt funny.
"Nice to meet you, Yeri and Irene" Lisa said with a smile.
"Let's go back to the hall. Shall we?" Lisa asked and Yeri had the guts to cling on Lisa's right arms like a child. I followed them through my eyes before making steps at their behind.
"Chae! I thought I lost you" Lisa said and placed a longing kiss on Chaeyoung's jawline. Damn, there were people around why does Lisa had to be so clingy.
"Oh hey, baby..." Chae stopped when she saw me. She gave me a small smile. Baby? Can't they have another endearment that was different from Lisa and I?
