"Hey," I snapped as I nudged Blake, "Don't bring Mike into this."

"Alright, don't believe me, but I'm just warning you. Why don't you ask him yourself?" Blake grabbed my shoulders and turned me around. Mike was a mere 10 feet away talking to Elliot.

"Go on," Blake said smugly.

"Fine, but only to prove you wrong," I countered. I was already peeved at Alec, and now Blake?! Ugh.

I strolled casually towards Mike and Elliot, but inside, my stomach was churning like butter.

"Uh, heyyy, Mike and Elliot," I waved nervously.

"Hi Lei!" Elliot waved first, "Long time no see!"

I laughed a little, "Well I did almost shoot you at 'The Hunger Games'."

Elliot laughed too. "Well, I'm gotta get ready for today's games. Hopefully we'll get to beat Tyler's asses. See you guys later."

Mike and I waved to him and looked back at each other. "So, what's up Lei?"

"Oh..yeah, um. Blake--"

"Okay, if it's about you and Blake fighting again, I don't wanna hear about it. I'm sorry Lei, but I can't really help you guys."

"Mike, it's about you," I cut in, "Blake 'warned' me about you. I don't know what, but I just wanted to clarify that with you."

I looked back to see Blake gone. Dammit.

Mike shot me a confused glance. "I have no clue what you're talking about."

"Are you sure? I mean, Blake is a total ass, but sometimes he tells the truth--"

"Whoa, whoa, what are you saying? That I'm lying? I swear, I don't have any idea what the hell you're going on about."

"Look, Blake thinks that you screwed with our non-existent friendship. You need to talk to him about it." I crossed my arms.

Mike scoffed. "Well then why did you come over here and not him?"

Hmm. He had a good point.

That's when he smiled. "Well, time to go. Want me to walk you to your group?"

I shook my head and smiled back. "See ya later. Good luck against Tyler's team if you end up with them."

"SHIT!" Emily shrieked as she dove to home plate.

"Safe!" The coach yelled.

Our team cheered as we made yet again another score in softball.

"Alright, Emily's team, huddle up! Time to have a discussion." The counselor smiled.

As we came together in a large group, we shook the other group's hand and high-fived as a sign of good game while they said their goodbyes.

The counselor gestured for us to have a seat in the dirt while she crouched down. "Alright, first of all, congratulations to Emily's team."

We whooped at that.

"Alright, alright, settle down. Now, the finals are in two days, and your team has just enough points to be qualified. Meaning that you have two days to train hard. Yeah, these are just measly camp games, but we take them seriously.

"Along with your team that has immunity for the next two days so far are," she opened her clip board, "Blake Hemingway's team, Tyler Wilson's team, and,"
