Wooyoung hummed to himself as he pushed a cart of books through the library. It was close to closing time, so all he needed to do was work on returning books to their proper section.

This was his favorite time of day because it was quiet. The people who came in here were all respectful of each other and did their best to keep to themselves.

Unlike the group of ten children who came in about mid morning and destroyed the kids section.

Being the lowest person on the totem pole, Wooyoung was given the lovely task of cleaning it up.

While the idea had been daunting at first, he took it as an opportunity to make sure everything was as organized as he could make it.

In his opinion, that area of the library had never looked better. He even found a few books that had been marked as lost, so he was able to re-add them to the inventory.

Wooyoung stopped next to one of the isles he needed and started pulling books off his cart. He scanned the labels on the shelf and started reorganizing everything.

Then someone cleared their throat and Wooyoung turned to see who needed him.

And immediately wanted to go hide.

"Hi." Jongho said, giving him a small smile.

"J-Jongho! What are you doing here?" He asked, trying to stay calm. It had been a few days since he had seen the farmer but for whatever reason, he found himself wondering if they'd run into each other again.

"I was in the area and I thought I'd come by to see if you were working."

Wooyoung took a step back, shocked that he had actually been sought out, and tripped on the hem of his own jeans.

Books went flying everywhere and he ended up falling back into the cart behind him with a loud yelp.

"Are you ok?" Jongho said, rushing forward to pull Wooyoung up from where he was laying on his back. The older winced and pulled his arm to inspect where it had slammed into the cart.

"That's going to leave a mark." He grumbled, then stared at the ground. There was no way he could make eye contact with Jongho now after embarrassing himself like that... "S-Sorry. I can be such a klutz sometimes..."

"You don't need to apologize. I snuck up on you. I'll help you clean this up." Jongho said, quickly scooping up some of the books in his arms.

"N-No, you don't need to." Wooyoung reached out to stop him and placed a hand on the farmer's arm, then quickly pulled it away.

Jongho just continued his task and started stacking the books on the cart.

After collecting himself, Wooyoung stood and rubbed the back of his head. Why did he feel so nervous all of the sudden? It's not like he knew Jongho. There was nothing to be nervous about.

Although he did look good in the white t-shirt and unbuttoned red, blue, and black plaid shirt he wore over it...

His eyes drifted down to Jongho's jeans and the muddy brown cowboy boots poking out from beneath them.

Then he felt his face getting hot.

"Anyway." Jongho said, drawing Wooyoung's attention back to his face. "I know you're new here, so I wanted to invite you out to the farm sometime for dinner. It can be hard to make new friends sometimes, but I wanted you to know you always have a place at my table if you want it."

Wooyoung felt his heart skip a beat. "You came all the way here just to tell me that?"

"Well, yeah." Jongho's smile got a little brighter. "Everyone needs a place to start. How well do you know the area?"
