Lunch was simple. Sandwiches and chips, along with some lemonade. "So what does your typical day look like?" Wooyoung asked as he picked at his plate.

Jongho set his plate down and moved to leans against the counter next to Wooyoung. "I'm usually up at dawn to help the staff feed the animals. And mostly that is to take care of Sunny and make sure she is doing ok. Then I make sure everyone has their assignments for the day. Everything needs to be watered, weeded, and checked over. Right now crops are being harvested so we take care of those too. And night we feed the animals again and shut everything down."

Wooyoung's eyes widened in shock. "And you do that every day?"

The younger chuckled. "Almost. We all get days off still. Today is mine." Jongho flashed a crooked smile and took Wooyoung's empty plate from him.

"Wow. And I thought my days were busy working two jobs. That's amazing Jongho."

"Well I couldn't do it without the others, but thank you. What would you like to see next?"

"Anything."

Jongho grabbed his hand one more time and gave him a quick tour of his house. He was the only one that lived on the property. Everyone else drove in and parked by where they were working for the day.

"Don't you get lonely?" Wooyoung asked as they made their way outside.

"Sometimes. Nights can be quiet, but I make due."

Wooyoung leaned into them as they walked and found himself loving the way Jongho's hand engulfed his. Every part of it was rough and calloused, showing the dedication he had for his work. He squeezed it gently and looked out over the pastures.

A dog barked and he turned to see a brown dog bounding in their direction. He had long lanky legs and looked like he had at least some lab in him.

Jongho let go of Wooyoung's hand to crouch down and greet the animal. "Hey Bailey-boy! Where have you been hiding all day?"

The dog whined and shook his tail so hard his entire body seemed to be wagging.

Wooyoung laughed when the dog started licking Jongho's face.

"Alright Bailey, down, down!" Jongho sputtered, pushing the dog away. He didn't seem to mind, he just moved to Wooyoung and started brushing up against his legs. "Sorry, I promise he won't hurt you. This is Bailey, a stray I rescued a couple of years ago."

"He's such a sweetheart!" Wooyoung rubbed the dog behind his ear and his mouth opened in a wide smile.

"Yeah, he is. He's great for company when he's around. But he's so friendly he likes to visit everyone else who works here." Jongho snapped his fingers twice and Bailey came to him and sat. "Good boy." He praised. "Go on."

The dog bounded away, running up to someone working a nearby field.

The rest of the day passed with seeing the fields and other baby animals. Wooyoung ended up getting chased by a cow when he got too close to her baby. He screamed as she ran after him with her head bowed while Jongho shouted at her and waved his arms back and forth to try and distract her.

Wooyoung jumped the fence just in time and turned around to stick his tongue out at the animal.

She stomped the ground and snorted while her calf pranced around happily.

When dinner time drew closer, the couple made their way back to Jongho's house. "This ought to make you feel better." He said with a chuckle as he pulled out a couple of hamburger patties.

The older felt himself turning red with embarrassment and he crossed his arms. "I have no idea to what you may be referring."

"Oh no, never." Jongho winked at him as he started seasoning the meat. He had an outdoor grill that he cooked them on, along with a few vegetables as a side.
