Wooyoung woke up to something baking in the kitchen. He let out a content sigh and turned to see that Jongho was indeed gone, but he didn't mind since he could hear where the younger was.
His mind drifted to last night and the amazing time they had had together. Jongho's confidence had grown since their first time, and the thought of how Jongho had made him feel last night made him blush and hide under the covers.
"What are you doing?" Jongho's lighthearted laugh came from the door.
Wooyoung peeked at him and felt himself turn an even deeper shade of red. "N-Nothing."
Jongho just shook his head and walked over to his side of the bed while setting the try down on the end of it. "Are you hungry?"
"Starving!" Wooyoung popped up and kept the blankets wrapped around his waist and legs. He looked down at the try, which had a few large, gooey cinnamon rolls on it that had been layered with icing. There was also a bowl of fruit and some milk as well. "Wow, this looks great! Did you make all this yourself?"
Jongho hummed while popping a strawberry into his mouth. "Yup. I slaved over them for the entire ten minutes to container told me to bake them for." He peeked a Wooyoung and pressed his lips together to hold in his laughter.
It didn't work.
Both of them doubled over and Jongho eventually pulled Wooyoung in close so they could lean into each other while eating.
"Have you ever ridden a horse before?" The younger asked as their meal drew to a close.
"N-No. I haven't, actually. My parents don't like animals so they didn't want me to be around them either." Wooyoung fiddled with his fingers.
Jongho grabbed one of his hands and laced their fingers together before bringing Wooyoung's hand to his lips. "Would you like to learn? I need to go check on some of the fields and I thought we could ride there if you'd like?" He placed a few more soft kisses on Wooyoung's hand while watching him closely.
Wooyoung felt like he had been captured by the younger's gaze. He could sit like this forever if he was given the choice. His heart was pounding so much more than normal.
It almost scared him to think about what that could mean...
"Can I learn that easily? I wouldn't even know where to begin." He asked, trying to push the other thoughts aside.
"Oh yeah, I've got an older gelding I will have you ride. He's very peaceful and he's who the kids will ride when they come around here." Jongho slipped out of bed and took the tray back to the kitchen.
Wooyoung took that time to slip out of bed and find his clothes. He was thankful he had just decided on an older t-shirt today that After pulling on his boots, he met Jongho in the kitchen and saw that he was on the phone.
"Yes... Of course I'll be there... Mom... Mom, please, it's not like that! You know I want to see you. I just have a lot of responsibility here... You sure know how to lay it on thick, don't you... I already told you I'd be there... Yes, I know... Yeah, I love you too." Jongho hung up with a sigh.
"Is everything ok?" Wooyoung walked up to him and wrapped his arms around his waist.
"Yeah, I just have a family thing I need to do this weekend that is becoming a lot more stressful than I want it to be."
"Oh..." Wooyoung glanced down at Jongho's chest. "I was hoping I'd get to see you again."
His head was tilted back up when Jongho gently place his fingers underneath Wooyoung's chin. The brightest smile was on his face. "You have no idea how happy that makes me. And I would love to see you too, but this is really important to my family."
