The next couple of days passed by quickly for Wooyoung. He was starting to get the hang of the bus schedule and he always made sure to finish with enough time to catch it home.
He didn't want a repeat of the other night, even though he had really enjoying being with Jongho.
The farmer had walked him to his front door and everything to make sure he arrived safely.
Now that the week was ending and he had a day off coming up, he really wished he had a way to contact the younger.
He really wanted to go and visit the farm and see what happened there.
So on his day off, Wooyoung got up early and once again hopped on the bus to head into the city.
He had been paid by the library this week, so he was hoping he could sign up for a phone plan to get his phone working again so it was more than a glorified music player.
Marcus would appreciate it too. His boss had made a few passing remarks about wishing he could contact Wooyoung so he had a heads up of what he wanted done that day.
Granted, he was still working on trying to organize the mess of files in the back room, but it was something.
The bus stopped on the Main Street and Wooyoung exited while changing the song on his phone. Once satisfied with the upbeat choice, he started walking down the sidewalk to look for phone store.
There was one not far, so he stepped in and worked on getting a basic phone plan.
It took a lot longer than he expected. It was hard to find a plan that he thought would fit his needs and his budget. He still didn't know exactly how much Marcus was going to pay him. They had never discussed what his pay was going to be, nor had they talked about how he was going to be paid.
Wooyoung made a mental not to be sure to talk to him about that the next time he went in. At this point he didn't really care how he got paid as long as he had the extra money.
His one saving grace was the fact that he already had a phone, so he didn't need to worry about getting a new one. Once the plan was signed up for, the associate worked on getting his phone activated and sent him on his way.
When everything was over, Wooyoung stood off to the side so he wasn't blocking the door and pulled out his wallet with Jongho's card.
A smile crossed his face as he started to enter the number into his phone.
Wooyoung
Hi Jongho. It's Wooyoung.
I finally got a phone!
I just wanted to make sure that you had my number.
He bit his lip as he locked his phone and looked around at his surroundings. It was still early in the afternoon so the idea of wandering around for a bit sounded appealing.
After walking a couple of blocks, Wooyoung's phone vibrated in his hand, which made him jump since he had gone several weeks without the feature.
The screen flashed quickly and his heart started to pound.
Jongho
This is great!
Now we have a way to talk to each other.
And you don't have to call me from strange numbers.
Wooyoung
This is true.
