Wooyoung felt like he could finally relax as soon as the elevator dinged and the doors slid open to reveal the inside of San's penthouse.

The older took his hand and pulled him inside with a wide smile on his face that crinkled his eyes. "You're hungry, right? I remember telling you not to eat too much."

Wooyoung's stomach answered for him with a loud growl. He blushed and looked down, realizing he hadn't eaten anything all day. Marcus never gave him permission to buy himself breakfast or lunch when he ran to get food so he never even thought to get something for himself.

"Perfect." San spun around and lifted Wooyoung up so he could sit on the kitchen counter. It made him let out a small squeak of surprise, but San was gone before he could even say anything, only to return a moment later wearing an apron around his waist. "I'm going to attempt to cook for you, and you are not going to tell me how bad it is because I'm not a cook."

A joyous laughter left Wooyoung and he wrapped his arms around his stomach. "Do I need to worry about you poisoning me?"

"God I hope not. I'll have Pierre on standby with antidote though. He can be here in less than five minutes, that should be enough time right?" San tapped his chin a couple of times.

"I mean, I guess it depends on how quickly you want to kill me." Wooyoung bit his lip to try and hold back his laughter. "You never know, I could have slipped you a slow acting poison the last time I saw you."

San gasped in a very over exaggerate manner before walking up to Wooyoung and placing his hands on either side of him on the counter. "Well I guess we better make the most of whatever time I have left with you."

Wooyoung looped his arms around San's neck while looking down at him. He bent over to connect their foreheads and teased the silky blonde hair at the base of San's skull. "I would like that." He sat back up and pushed San to the refrigerator with his foot. "Now feed me, I'm hungry!"

"Ok, ok." San shook his head and started pulling out several package and placing them on the counter.

"So what's the story with you and Pierre?" Wooyoung asked while swinging his legs back and forth. "You seem close."

"We are. He's with me almost all day seven days a week." San said without looking up from the food in front of him. His forehead furrowed in concentration as he started slicing meat into little chunks. "Although he would never admit it, I consider us friends, even though I am paying him. How sad is that?" He said more to himself than to Wooyoung.

Th younger could tell he was trying to make light of the situation, but there was a hint of sadness to San's voice. It must be lonely for him if the only people he considered friends were people he had to pay...

"He's a good man, and bodyguard. I know he would do whatever it took to protect me if needed. And I would do anything for him in return."

"Does he have a family?"

San shook his head. "No. He said he's never been interested in settling down though." He lifted his head and swung his knife around in a circle. "Lucky me, right? I don't need to worry about him ditching me for someone else." He laughed and returned to cutting.

Wooyoung tilted his head. "So how did you find him?"

"Interviews. Lots and lots of interviews. When I started building my company, I realized there would be a lot of people who didn't like what I was doing or who wanted my money. And to each his own. People are allowed to have different opinions than me, but I wanted to feel safe and a personal bodyguard sounded like a good idea."

"Wow, that sounds... Scary." Wooyoung looked down at his hands, suddenly semi-grateful for his pitiful life.

"It was at first, but I'm used to it now. And really, I do enough good for this city that there aren't a lot of people who don't like my company. I provide thousands of jobs and I run several different charities. That's actually what tomorrow night is for. I have a silent auction going with several donated items and everything from that will go to orphanages around town. Later in the year I'll do one for the local food banks as well."
