Wooyoung ended up staying the night with San. They had both fallen asleep during one of the movies, although he had vague memories of San helping him to bed at one point.
His night was plagued with visions of shadowy hands that chased him around corners and burned if they touched him.
He woke up with a jolt in the morning, covered with sweat and clutching his chest. It took him a moment to remember where he was, but when he did, he turned and glanced to the side.
San's side of the bed was empty, and the covers had already been pulled up and tucked in.
Wooyoung's forehead furrowed a little and he slipped out from under the covers, making sure to make his side of the bed as well, then walked out into the main living area.
He found the older sitting at his dining room table with a pair of round glasses perched on the end of his nose. His blonde hair was ruffled either from sleep or his own hands, and his lips were moving like he was talking to himself.
It was an incredibly attractive look and Wooyoung just stood there and watched him for several minutes.
With a sigh, San pushed his glasses up his nose and sat back in his chair. Then he noticed Wooyoung and his eyes lit up. "Youngie! How are you doing? I'm sorry you had to wake up alone but I didn't want to disturb you."
"You're fine. What time is it?" The younger asked, glancing around the room.
San flicked his wrist to look at his watch. "Half past nine."
Wooyoung let out a long sigh. "Damn. I've got work in two hours."
"Call in sick." San's mouth curled in a smirk. "I have just a little more work I need to do to prepare for a meeting. Then I say we play hooky together."
"Well," Wooyoung chewed on his bottom lip. "I could call the library, but I have my other job tonight too. But that's not until five." He looked down at the ground and mumbled, "That one I know I can't miss."
"So you can go to that one. And then I'll drop you off at your other job." The say San said it made it sound like Wooyoung didn't have a choice.
And he was ok with that. Taking some time for himself sounded like a great idea after what Marcus had done to him yesterday. He was not looking forward to seeing the man today, but he had no choice...
Thankfully the phone call was a quick one. Wooyoung had never called out sick before, so while his manager sounded a little stressed, he told Wooyoung to make sure he was feeling better.
He wanted to wait to give his two weeks in person, so he didn't mention that he would be quitting his job at that time.
After the call, San started bouncing around the kitchen, obviously very happy that Wooyoung would be staying. He ended up ordering more food for them to share, which got there while he had Wooyoung pinned against one of the counters and was giving him a very sensual kiss.
"Alright, help yourself, like I said I have a few more things I need to take care of for work and then we can do whatever you want to do." San said, giving Wooyoung a quick peck on his forehead. "And you can help yourself to whatever fits in my closet."
"Thanks." Wooyoung felt himself blush a little but was more than happy to take him up on the offer.
He wandered into the large walk-in closet with a piece of bacon hanging out of his mouth and his eyes grew wide instantly. It looked like he had walked into a section of a clothing store. All three walls were lined with racks or shelves. The one on the right was full of dress shirts, slacks, and suits while the one on the left had more dress shirts, but then some t-shirts, jeans, and more casual wear. The back wall was where San kept his shoes, belts, and other accessories.
