NIGHTBLADE

Chapter 7

Meanwhile, Damian continues to struggle even after being wet from the water sprinklers as he tries to find a place to hide.

He then stopped and sat down near the lockers. He takes off his jacket and starts twisting it squeezing the water out of it.

"The aura I sensed is strong." Neon said, "We must act now."

"I know that, but can you wait a little longer?" Damian replied, "I'm a little low on energy right now."

Suddenly, there was the sound of concrete breaking nearby. Damian immediately stood up, trying to figure out where it is coming from. Neon appeared resting on his shoulder when suddenly, -- CRASH!! Damian turned to find a heavy red armored knight crashing through the wall. The knight just stood there and turned to Damian.

"Ah, look who we have here." he said

"Do I know you?" Damian asked

The red knight began to charge at him but Damian quickly slid under between his legs grabbing both of it making the knight fall down to the ground. THUD!!

The knight growled as he pushed himself back up and charged at Damian again. He evaded the attack but the knight stopped himself and pushed himself to his right crashing Damian to the lockers! BAM!!

Damian dropped to the floor in pain. The red knight then grabbed him and tossed him across the hallway!

"I've always wanted to do that!" The red knight exclaimed

Still feeling the pain around his body, Damian quickly rolled over to the other side and managed to stand up.

"What's the problem?" Neon asked, "Why haven't you transformed yet?"

Damian didn't reply and looked around him. There are security cameras everywhere. Without having a second thought, he ran away.

"What's this? Leaving so soon?" The red knight said, "Not on my watch you won't."

Damian ran as fast as he could but when he loomed over his shoulder, the knight was following him from behind. He made a sharp turn. The knight followed but didn't see Damian.

"Rats! Lost him." The red knight grunted and left

On the other hand, Damian was above him the entire time, holding on to the ceiling. He let go, landing on his feet and hid in the room next to him.

"Now's the time to do it." Damian whispered. He touched his medallion and a blue light shone around him changing into his black and blue suit and transforming him into NightBlade.

He then quietly got out of the room he was hiding in and walked around the hall looking for the red knight when all of a sudden --BOOM!! There was a loud noise just outside the school!
