Beneath the abandoned building, the cloaked figure appeared in front of the statue in the throne room. He bowed down in front of the statue, "That bull got killed by that boy who possessed the powers of the phoenix." he said.
The statue's eyes glowed purple and replied, "I see."
"You don't seem surprised, my lord." The cloaked figure asked
"He was only worth living because of his brute strength." The statue replied,
There was silence in the room. Nothing to hear but the heavy breathing from the statue.
"Anything to declare?" it asked
"If I may, to take down your enemy, it might be time to test the powers of the phoenix to the limit." the cloaked figure replied
"Do as you wish." the statue said, "But make sure you kill the boy."
"I won't let you down, my lord." the cloaked figure replied, bowing his head.
"You better be. I want nothing more than that pest eliminated and I will finally be free from the shackles of this tomb I am in." The statue muttered before its purple eyes stopped glowing.
The cloaked figure then stood up, bowed down in front of the statue, and disappeared into the shadows.
Meanwhile, at Damian's room, he placed another bandage on his right arm. He then noticed Neon in his mini form perched beside the medallion as if his mind had been elsewhere.
"Is there something wrong?" Damian asked
Neon was hesitant to reply at first, "When you picked up the white rock and that feather went inside the medallion, another one of my memories returned to me."
"What do you remember?"
"Well, to begin with, all I could remember was a bright light followed by five other colors." Neon spoke, "I remember I emerged from one of them. I also caught glimpses of other creatures emerging from their own colors. And then..."
Damian raised his eyebrow, "And then what?"
"I don't know." Neon replied, "I think that is all I know for now."
Damian scratched his chin as he was thinking of something, "So, all we have to do is collect those missing feathers of yours to recover your memories?"
"I guess you could say that." Neon told him. "But if we encounter another threat-"
"Then we'll stop them." Damian chided in. "No matter what it takes."
