Chapter 27

Just before Damian was about to leave after grabbing his stuff in the locker, someone was calling him from afar. When he turned around, he saw Rachel walking towards him in a hurry.

"Hey Damian," she said,

"What's up?" Damian asked,

"Our adviser just called and he said that the entire class invited to come along for a road trip," Rachel told him,

"I didn't know that."

"You left early."

"Oh."

"Anyway, he said he contacted our parents or guardian about it."

"Really?"

Ding! Damian checked his phone and saw a message from Aunt Sally.

"You should go along with them. It'll be fun :)" she messaged,

Damian shrugged as he put his phone in his pocket, "Where are we going exactly?"

"I don't know." Rachel said, "All I know is that we're going sight-seeing and camp somewhere."

"When do we leave?"

"This Saturday. We'll all meet up at school grounds around 9 in the morning."

"The entire class agreed to this?"

Rachel nodded, "Yep."

Damian thought about it for a moment, "Then I'll see y'all on Saturday." he said before riding his bike home.

A couple of days later, it was Saturday. Damian rode his bike to school where he saw his classmates waiting there with their bags.

He then saw Samantha hitting Jonathan with a toy hammer repeatedly. Jonathan, clearly annoyed, grabbed the toy hammer and threw it away. SLAP!! Samantha just smacked him in the head. "Go grab it."

"Never," he replied,

Samantha gave him the look. "NOW."

Jonathan sighed, "Whatever, gorilla."

Samantha just pulled his ear again and pushed him away as he tries to get the toy hammer.

"Looks like you're in high spirits," Damian said,

"Maybe. Or I could be bored," Samantha replied, then looked to where Jonathan is, "You better find it or you're gonna regret the day you messed with me!"

James approached Damian, "Nah. She just loves annoying us." he whispered,

"I see," Damian said,

A long bus came just at the nick of time. They all got in a single file and went inside.

Damian sat in the left middle area next to the window. As soon as his classmates got in, he noticed that one of them sat beside him. Her name is Justine. To be fair, he didn't mind at all.

"Alright, ABM22," Mr. Aries, their advisor called out, "Are you all here?"

All of the students nodded.

"Good, now are you ready for the ride of your lives?" he asked,

"YEAH!!" all of them replied,

With that, the bus driver stepped on the gas pedal and they are now off to probably the best time of their lives.

Damian took out his one-ear Bluetooth headset and started playing music while trying to take a nap.
