"...After 500 years have passed since the defeat of the Black Dragon, peace and prosperity flourished over the land once more." The Museum Tour Guide narrated.
It was a school field trip to the museum for the upper elementary in L.A. International and many students joined the trip. The students were taking the Hall of History and some aren't quite happy nor interested in it.
A student raised his hand, "Uhh... I have a question: When are we done here?"
The tour guide eyed him, "It'll be done after the tour, boy. Now follow me, children." He replied
As the whole batch of students followed their tour guide, one of them trailed to a halt. He heard or he thought he heard___a whisper, but he couldn't find out where it came from.
Until he saw a medallion from a distance. It was encased in a glass box displayed in the middle of the hall along with the other artifacts.
Then he heard another gibberish whisper. Without thinking, he started walked closer to the displayed medallion. But as the kid was about to touch the medallion, a man grabbed his hand.
"What do you think you're doing?" the man asked, "Can't you read?"
He pointed to a sign that says: "Don't touch the artifacts."
"Sorry. I didn't quite see that but I heard that thing calling out to me." The boy replied pointing to the medallion.
"You're just hearing things, kid." The man smirked.
But before the boy could reply, a teacher came by the room.
"There you are, Damian!" she said, "Come now. You mustn't run off like that."
As she took the boy back to his group, the man looked back at the displayed medallion. It looked like it had a certain glow around it but the man just shrugged and walked away thinking that he was just seeing things.
Ten years later...
Beep! Beep! Beep! An alarm went off.
Irritated, Damian picked it up and turned it down. He then checked the time. It was 5:30 in the morning. He got up from the bed and headed straight to the showers. When he got dressed, he cooked some bacon and eggs and biked his way to school.
As he walked down the school hallway full of students, Damian walked up to his own locker and grabbed some books.
Until something touched his shoulder. Damian turned only to find Zack throwing a fake punch and a slap at him.
"Really?" Damian said, irritated.
"Testing your reflexes." Zayn explained, "And you suck at it."
"That's because I'm busy with a lot of stuff. Jeez!" Damian replied as he closed his locker and walked to his classroom with Zayn.
