A couple of days have passed, the school has been suspended due to recent events.

Meanwhile, Damian was in his room contemplating what happened at that time.

"Did we really just lose back there?" he muttered,

"You were really beaten up from that fight." Neon said,

Damian then picked up something in his pocket. It was the white feathers he found in that chest. "Well, here goes nothing," he said,

The white feathers glowed and swirled above him and went straight inside the medallion. And all of a sudden, Damian caught glimpses of Neon's memories.

He saw Neon's first interaction with a man who looks very familiar but can't tell who it is. Another was that the sky went pitch black and everything from plants to the animals was rotting away. Amidst the darkness, he saw a shadow in the distance. A tall dark shadow towering above with its heinous purple eyes glaring.

When he blinked, he noticed that he was still sitting on his bed but he felt his forehead sweating.

"What was that?" he said,

"You see it too?" Neon asked,

Damian nodded, "Do you know what it means?"

Neon stared at the medallion, "It was when the Dark Dragon ruled the land in darkness." he replied,

"I was also gonna ask you something," Damian told him,

Neon looked at him, "What is it?"

"How do we know how many of those feathers are out there? They could be literally anywhere around the world."

"You don't have to force yourself to help me."

"Well, what choice do I have? I myself couldn't even remember exactly how my parents disappeared."

"What do you mean?"

Damian stared at the ground, "All I could remember was that I was in an accident and I was in a coma for a very long time."

"Really?"

"By the time I woke up, I couldn't remember anything that happened that day. My aunt filled me in but I had a hard time believing it."

"I'm sorry for your loss."

"When I met you back then, it felt like I was drawn to you somehow. Like my instincts were telling me to help you. And that's exactly why I won't stop until you get back your memories."

"I see."

There was a knock on his door. Knock Knock. Aunt Sally came into the room.

"Just checking on you." she said, "How are you feeling?"

"I'm all good, Aunt Sally," Damian replied,

"Can I talk to you about something?" Aunt Sally asked,

"Sure."

"Ok. I was wondering if you would want to spend the summer with him and your cousin."

"Why?"

"Your Uncle Terry just called me. I thought that a change of scenery can help you relax."

"But what about you?"

"Oh, don't worry about me. I'll be away for a little while with your grandparents."

"I see."

"So, whattaya think?"

Damian thought about it for a minute. "I'm cool with that. When am I leaving?"

"Two days from now. I'll call your uncle to let him know."

"Right."

Aunt Sally left the room.

Damian looked at Neon, "I'm surprised that she didn't even see you."

"I couldn't even believe it myself." Neon said,

"Ready for a road trip?"

"Sounds fun."
