The cloaked figure dug its vines from the back of its armor to the ground and the floor rumbled and cracks began to form and giant skull warriors emerged from within those cracks.


"Now, my friends." he told them, "It's feeding time!"


The skull warriors roared in delight and charged straight towards NightBlade.


NightBlade, who was still in his Variant form, readied himself as he floated up into the air and dived straight down at them.


SLASH!! SLASH!! He swiftly moved around swinging his two swords and taking out the skull warriors left and right.


But each time he sliced one skull warrior, two popped up in its place. And this has been going on for the longest time.


Despite being super exhausted, NightBlade continued to fight the skull warriors but it was evident that he wasn't having much luck on that part.


As soon as those skull warriors were closing in on him, he did a couple of back-flips until he had some space. They growled and started running towards him.


Taking a deep breath, NightBlade made his two swords collide together on both ends of the handle and made it spin like a propeller. Suddenly, flames burst out of the spinning blades and aimed directly at the skull warriors burning and melting them into a puddle.


After a while, the blades stopped spinning and disappeared. NightBlade fell on his knees as his Variant form vanished reverting him back to his original suit.


"Are you alright?" Neon asked,


NightBlade continued to breathe heavily, "I'll...I'll be fine." he replied,


Suddenly, a green vine wrapped itself around his neck and lifted him up in the air. The vine spun him around and threw him to a wall. THUD!!


"On second thought, I think I'm not fine," he muttered,
