By the time he arrived at school, he rushed to the classroom just before the bell rings. He then found himself being stared at by his classmates.
"Oh, there you are." Ms. Ramos said, "We just had our groupings."
"Uh, sorry. I was uh-"
"I'll be adding you to that group at the back." she pointed to the back of the room.
Damian just nodded and walked to where his group mates are. He then sat down beside them. One of the group members looked familiar to him.
"Isn't she the one who kicked the guy in the groin?" Neon whispered,
Yep. That's her alright. Damian replied in his head.
"Ok. Just a quick introduction." one of them spoke, "My name's Jonathan"
He pointed at the guy who's writing down their names, "That's James"
"To his left, that's Ace. On your right, that's Jolar." Jonathan continued, "And finally, that girl over there, that's Samantha."
Damian just nodded, "I see."
"What's your name?" James asked
"Damian Molina"
Jonathan moved a little closer to him, "I'd be careful of that gorilla beside you." he whispered
Samantha, on the other hand, heard him and pulled Jonathan's ear, "Who are you calling 'gorilla', Johnny-boy?!"
"Ow! Ow! OW!! Alright! You ain't a gorilla." Jonathan said, "You're even worse than King Kong."
Samantha just kept pulling his ear and started pinching it. Jonathan managed to break free though.
"Is this how you guys always do?" Damian asked,
"Pretty much." Ace replied,
"You'll get used to it," Jolar added,
"Ok." James then spoke, "Let's get to work."
