Chapter 17: suspicious

The next morning, I woke up with Sideswipe curled up against my back in our tent. The memories of last night came back again, and I had to admit, I was a little bit nervous.

Sideswipe woke up ten minutes later and looked at me "I hope I didn't hurt you too much" he whispered softly in my ear. I blushed and shook my head "good!" He whispered before he rolled on his back.

I turned around and snuggled into him "we probably need to get up!" He sighed while rubbing his eyes. "Yeah..." I sighed while searching for my bra. I removed my shirt and grabbed my bra. Sideswipe stopped me for a moment, making me frown.

"What?!" I asked confused. He pushed me down and kneaded my breasts. "Sides!" I said warningly. He rolled his eyes and kissed my lips before lowering to my breasts. I rolled my eyes as I felt him suck on my nipple. "Sideswipe!" I said again. He looked up with that innocent smile on his face.

"Remember what I told you!?" I asked warningly. He scowled under his breath and laid down with his arms behind his head and watched me. While I grabbed my bra again, I looked at him.

"Are you sure?" He suddenly asked. I frowned "about what?"

"About what you told me last day," he replied. I bit my lip but nodded "this was just once Sideswipe! You know that!" I said. "Yeah... it's just... you know how I think about it and it frustrates me for some reason!" He replied.

I laid my hand on his cheek "look sides! We don't have a choice! We had luck last night!" I said while whispering the last part. "True! Do you regret it?" He asked. I shook my head and pecked his lips. "That's not a kiss!" He whispered before grabbed me and pinned me underneath him, kissing me deeply.

"That's a kiss!" He whispered softly in my ear before he got up. I changed my clothes and saw Sideswipe started to do the same, he completely undressed and grabbed some underwear and pants.

I looked over his handsome and bare body, he noticed and smirked. "What about a very quick-..." I cut him off my clenching my hand over his mouth. "Don't even finish that!" I whispered softly in his ear.

"But I promise I'll do it quickly," he purred. "And I said no!" I stated. He sucked in a breath while I threw his boxers towards him. He sulked but put it on and grabbed his pants. I opened the tent and glared at Sideswipe as he smacked my ass.

He smiled innocently with a cocky glimpse in his eyes. I rolled my eyes and got up as I was outside. "Come on handsome!" I sighed. Sideswipe quickly got out as well and wrapped his arm around me.

Later we caught up with the others and Bee instantly started to smirk as he saw me. Sideswipe was a little bit nervous while Sam didn't even know why we're so tense.

"I'm glad you behaved!" Sam huffed. "I always behave!" Sideswipe grinned while winking at me. I rolled my eyes and poked him softly. "Did you two even sleep?" Bumblebee challenged.

Sideswipe made himself bigger and glared with darkened eyes at Bee. It was something Sunstreaker did all the time to dominate other mechs and human males. Sideswipe only used it if it was necessary. Bumblebee looked down it submission as Sideswipe growled, warningly him.

Sideswipe huffed and his eyes turned to its original azure blue. Sam cocked his head to the side "why did you dominate him?" He asked with a hint of surprise. "I'm still higher placed than him!" He growled while glaring at Bee who avoided his eyes.

"Yeah! But it's not a reason to dominate him!" Sam sulked. Sideswipe's eyes darkened again while Sam flinched. In this perspective, Sideswipe acted like Sunstreaker, even his voice was now the same.

"Swipes! Stand down!" I sighed, tucking at his arm. The mech sighed and nodded "alright!" He mumbled and wrapped his arm around my waist. "Sorry! He didn't have a very good sleep!" I chuckled. Sideswipe childish repeated me and poked me. "Come on, sweetspark!" He said, taking me with him.

"Don't be so grumpy!" I muttered, poking him with my elbow. "Merope! He knows what we did last night! And it was fun... I want more than just friends but I also understand you... so for know... we forget about tonight until the times come! I don't want to... make you feel uncomfortable! Okay!? We are friends!" He stated, a little bit saddened.

I smiled back and kissed his cheek "I'm sure there will be a day where we can be more than 'just friends'...!" I whispered. He smiled and nuzzled in my neck. "But for now... we can be best friends!" He purred. I hummed and bumped my hip against his "let's do what we always do if we are together!" I chirped before running off, Sideswipe chasing me.

"Merope!" He laughs ask I jumped on his back and tightly holds him. "I'm still the best, Sideswipe!" I teased. He huffed and threw me off, "oh no! You're not!" He laughs, grabbing me.

"Damn I'm good!"

I laughed and looked him in the eyes "I actually can't believe we did 'that' last night!" I said. He smirks "neither do I!" He replied before he got up and helps me up. "But... we didn't harm anyone... it's our little secret!" He whispered as he circled me.

I hummed and kissed his cheek before, sprinting back towards the small camp we made. I stopped and Sideswipe almost bumped into me. Mikaela looks at me and Sideswipe. "So... you two have had a good night?" She asked a bit teasingly. "I slept better than sides..." I replied with a grin.

"I heard you two left the tent..." she began. "Just a walk towards the lake! Nothing more..." I replied. Sideswipe nuzzled in my neck "when are you two gonna date!?" She finally asked. "Sides and I are friends!" I stated firmly. She hummed and rolled her eyes before she steps closer towards me and removed a piece of my shirt, revealing the mark Sideswipe left on my collarbone.

"I'm a girl too you know,"

I blushed while looking at Sideswipe "okay... so maybe we went to far last night! But Sunny can't know about it! He will kill her... we talked about it... and it's better to be friends! So this was just for once!" Sideswipe stated.

Mikaela gave a weak smile "I understand! I won't tell anyone!" She replied with a smile on her face. We stalked back to the camp and sideswipe sat down next to me.

"Mer?!" Sideswipe called out. I turned around and stalked over to him "tonight I'll claim the other side of the tent!" He stated. "Sure!" I snorted.

Sideswipe and I played with each other, it was mostly sideswipe teasing me like he always does and around the late evening, we snuggled into each other in our tent.

I perked my head up by hearing a sound. "What's it!?" He asked as I kept staring at the tent. "Nothing... I think a squirrel," I sulked before snuggling into him again. Sideswipe hummed and sighed happily.

While we snuggled into each other, Sideswipe had fallen asleep, but I was sure someone was out there. I grabbed a knife I brought along and slowly left the tent, my scents were better than normal humans and I could smell another cybertronian, but not Bee.

I growled and slowly walked through the darkness, it was quiet and I stopped as I lost the trail. I sniffed in the air, trying to find the smell, but there was nothing. I turned around and stalked back towards the tent, and crawled in again, Sideswipe sleepily opened his eyes.

"Where did you go?" He whimpered. I quickly closed the tent and snuggled into him "Shh... go to sleep!" I whispered as I pulled him closer. Sideswipe buried his face in my neck and sighed happily. "Love you!" He murmured. I kissed his head and curled up against him, but the strange feeling never left my body. Someone, a Cybertronian had been here recently but why?!
