CHAPTER 3
On Saturday all i did was swim in my pool and sun bake. I was getting really bored when i got a text message from someone. It was Luke. I got really excited. The text message said
hey, just wondering what your plans were for this arvo?
nothing that i know of. why?
did you want to come to a party with me tonight?
sure its not like I'm doing anything :)
great, i will come pick you up at 10.
I got so excited i started trying on different clothes to wear. I finally picked out black denim shorts, a large grey jumper and my maroon vans. It was 6 o’clock when my parents came home. We had dinner when my mum said “why are you dress like you're going out?” i replied “ yeah i was going to a mates party. I have made friends since I've been here you know.” “ok sure. but when will you be home?” “i wont be home to late. i will put a key under the mat so you don't have to stay up.” After we finished our dinner my parents watched tv in their bedroom. I watched tv in the living room until Luke came knocking at my door. We greeted each other with a warm hug. When we were walking to the party we talked about random stuff. When we got there Luke and i walked straight into their backyard. There were a few chairs around a fire. The fire was nice and warm. Then the girl who threw the party came and started talking to me. She was very nice and polite. Her name was Samantha, but she like to be called Sam. She was tall and had long blonde hair, tan with a nice body. We all talked through out the night. I had made some friends while Luke was getting drunk but i didn't have a sip of alcohol. When Luke got up to get another drink some random guy came up to me and started hitting on me. I started to feel really uncomfortable. Thats when i saw Luke from a distance, i got up and started walking towards him. Thats when the random guy grabbed me by my arm and pulled me towards him. “fuck off dick head” i yelled. Thats when Luke pulled me away. As Luke was pulling me away, i threw a right hook at that guys face. He fell face first, knocked out cold on the floor.
