it was an awkward drive home. and even more awkward that i was going back to my old house. my parents stayed for another two day before going to europe. i was a bit worried about luke. everything was reminding me of luke. another three days passed. i was just scared. memories of luke being every where. i had no way of contacting him. i didn't know where he was and he change his mobile number weeks ago and luke didn't know where i was. that night the boys were quiet but wouldn't go to sleep. i was laying on the lounge with them, watching tv when i heard a loud knock at the door. i jumped up and ran to the door because the boys were about to fall asleep. when i opened it i died. it was luke. “how did you know i was here?”

“your sister told me.” i was silent trying not to show that i missed him. “well i wanted to talk to you. are you ok to talk... to me?” i nodded and let him in. he walked into the kitchen. i was guessing the boys were asleep. “so whats up?”

“well holly saw me a few days ago and we had lunch. during lunch she said she did something really bad. i got drunk and she just kissed me but i pulled away as soon as she touched me. so technically  didn't cheat on you and i you really needed to know that.” we were both quiet. “yeah i know. holly told me before i left.”

“you knew and you did call or tx. why jess?”

“well for one i didn't know where you were and i though she needed to tell you. seeing as though she is the one who lied and how she is your best friend.”

“yeah i guess so. i missed you.” i smiled.

“i missed you too. wanna see your boys?”

“please” i walked him over into the lounge room. he sat right in between them, putting both of them in his arms. at that moment i forgot about the kiss. he just looked so perfect with them it made me want to cry.
