5 weeks passed- the pains in my stomach were bearable and i was getting sleep. most of the day i worried about how many weeks i had left and if the babies were coming soon would they both live. most days i was scared and worried. i knew i had to get to sydney as soon as possible. luke drove me to sydney a week after we went to the hospital. we spent a week at my sister house. one night i was just spending it with luke. during dinner luke had to tell me something important. “hey jess. I'm touring australia in a month.”
“a month. no, no, no. you cant. the doctor said the babies could be coming in weeks. you cant leave when our boys are born.”
“shit. just because the doctor says 2 weeks doesn't mean 2 weeks.”
“really luke, really?”
“what ok i promise no matter when, i will be here for the birth of our boys. even if i was half way around the world and you call me saying your in labor. i will take the first flight to sydney and be there for you. i love you” i had a hugh smile across my face.
“i love you too.” i grabbed our and put them in the sink. i reached for his hand and pulled him towards the couch. he fell asleep in my lap that night. a week and a half later family member after family member came over to see how i was. all telling me the same things. how are you? are you excited? we are so excited for you. we cant wait for the babies to come. i was tired of the same conversations just with different people. one night after a large family dinner with every member there. when every one finally left i had a bath. it was nice, warm and relaxing. i fell asleep soon after i got in, but i woke up when i started getting cramps and when the water started to rises. i started to freak out. was i going into labor? i wrapped a towel around me and went to luke. “babe we need to got to the hospital now. I'm in labour.” his face dropped and he ran to me. “ok let get you dressed and we will go.” as i was getting change luke told jas and dylan. luke drove there like a maniac. we finally got there and i was in alot of pain. i thought my pains a couple of weeks ago was bad. i was in labour for six hours. when one finally came out.
