the next night my nan dropped me off at a restaurant name Rashay’s. when i walked in my mum was already there looking at the menu. i took a deep breath before walking over and siting with her. “oh hi sweetie”
“hi mum”
“you look great”
“maybe thats because you haven't seen me in a month” she looked down at the dinner table and had some of her drink. she looked back up and me and took a breath.
“look I'm... I'm really sorry, it just me and your father were so mad and confused, we just didn't know what to do. i tried calling you but you hung up”
“because i was so shocked that you called me after a month. oh and you didn't know what to do. what about me? you have had two children before when you were young as well but you didn't know what to do for me?”
“no. no. it was just a complete shock. you were such a good girl. good grades. not interested in boys. them we moved to melbourne and you changed.”
i was about to tell her off but the waiter came and asked what we would like to order. “so um, what were we talking about? ahhh. i didn't ask to move to melbourne. i wanted to stay in sydney but you pretty much packed my bag for me. than i came to melbourne nd it was shit. i didn't know any one and i was had no one, until i meet luke. he was nice, kind and he was never rude to me. now i love him and know one will change that. were having a baby now, and if you want anything to do with our child it going to take some time.” the waiter came back with our food as soon as i finished. i had lasagna and my mum had a salad. half an hour later we both finished. “I'm am very sorry. you don't understand how sorry i am sweetie. i just want you back. all i want is for you to move back in with you father and i.”
