I wanted to surprise my Nan and Pop again but when i got to their place they weren't very surprised. “So Jess how have you been?” “Depends. Have you talked to my parents?” “Yes we have and they told us you had an incident and you haven't been home in days. Well only once but that was to get all of your clothes. Why haven't you been home sweet heart?” “Well i am kind of pregnant” There was a very long pause when my Pop said “Really?” “Yes I'm four weeks.” “And where are you living?” “With Luke and his family” They asked me thousands of questions. After an hour they became calm about the situation. “Well the same thing happened to your parents. They had jasmine at a young age.” “I know. I just don't understand why they would abandon me like this. I mean you were there for them. Why cant they be there for me?” “I am not sure sweet heart.” My Pop cooked us dinner then i went to bed. The next morning i had to wake up early to watch my cousins play their sport and i told my family i was pregnant. Their reactions were the same. They were all shocked and scared for me. At times it did get awkward. My Nan and Pop invited everyone over for a bbq for dinner. For most of the night it was awkward conversations about the baby and what i was going to do. For the rest of the night i talked to my cousins. I was mainly talking to my cousin Joshua. “Wow so you are really pregnant?”
“Yeah I'm 7 weeks”
“I cant even begin to imagine what it would be like to have a baby at our age.”
“Well i will tell you what its like ok”
“Its just so weird. I mean your going to be a mum. Do you think you will change?”
“Well im going to change a little. But you think its weird? I feel like I'm in a dream that i cant wake up from.” The rest of the night everyone was acting different around me. If they bumped into me they would freak out and grab my stomach and ask if i was alright. While eating dinner i caught alot of my family starring at me. After we ate everyone slowly started to go back to their house. I called Luke after everyone left. He told me about his fun day and i told him about my awkward day. We had a long conversation before i feel asleep.
