CHAPTER 12
“Holy shit drive. Its my mum. Bye and thanks again” He drove off when my mum said “Oh i wanted to say hello to Sam. She was the one driving right?” “Yeah but she ahh had to get to work. She was running a little bit late thats all. So yeah.” “Ok well do you want to get changed and we will go have lunch?” “Ohk great. I will only be a Sec.” I ran in and grabbed the first thing i saw. We went to the mall and both had a salad. My mum wanted to shop for some clothes while we were there. As we were walking i heard laughter coming from behind me and i turn around and see that someone was standing behind me. I didn't see their face really well, so i kept walking trying to catch up to my mum. My mum didn't notice anything so she was still walking miles ahead of me. Then i heard it again so i turned fast. I was shocked “Luke” “What? ... Jess” “Hahahaha you didn't know that was me?” “Haha no” My mum stoped and stared at me. “Oh Luke this is my mum, mum this is my mate Luke.” I was so scared. “Nice to meet you Luke” “Same here.” There was a bit of awkward silents before my mum said “So sweetie do you want to hangout with Luke and i will get my stuff and meet you at the car in about half an hour?” “Ok thanks mum. See you later” She kissed me on the cheek and said good bye to Luke. When she was out of sight Luke gabbed me and gave me a peck. “Sorry i got a little jealous.” “Jealous? Of my mum” Luke, Jai, Beau, Daniel and James all laughed together. I grabbed the the camera and said “Here i will video you guys” After half an hour i had to head off. “Sorry i have to go now. I loved hanging out with you an the guys for the little time we had. See you later” I kissed him and made my way. All the way home she was asking questions about Luke. After all of that i went in the pool to relax when i got a text from Sam saying Hey a whole group of us are going to the beach tomorrow. Just wanted to know if you where going to tag along. From the pool i was yelling out to my mum “Hey mum can i go to the beach with Sam and some friends?” “Yeah but who’s going? What time are you going? When will you be back? What beach are you doing to?.....” Not too long after she started talking i zoned out and text back “Yeah sure. Pick me up around 9. Oh and what beach?” After she gave me all the details and i told my mum and she was fine with it. So most of the afternoon i started on my tan and just before the sun went down i went inside eat dinner, got my stuff ready for tomorrow. I went to sleep early that night because i wasn't really a morning person.
