“yeah” i heard a car pull up into the drive way. for some reason, i automatically thought it was beau and jai but it wasn't. it was my parents and they brought some of my stuff from their house. stuff like my bed, dressing table and laptop. after they left we put every thing together. not much happened that next month. luke was doing well in his tafe course and the boys started to sleep easier. but some thing did happen that scared the shit out of me. it was one of the days where luke didn't have to go to tafe, so he spent the day with me and the twins. the morning started off good. luke made me and the twin breakfast. after breakfast luke and i started playing around with the twins. making them laugh and kick there legs around. i picked leo up and was rocking him around when his head hit the wall. i stopped was completely in shock. i looked down at leo. i saw his face turn from laugher to tear. luke ran over to me. “babe are you?” i was silent. i gave leo to luke and just looked at the floor. i put my face in my hands and started to cry. luke ran back over to me and put his hand on my shoulders. “jess its ok.” he put his hand on my chin and lifted my head. he gave me a kiss “lets just go to the hospital. it will be ok. i promise.” leo was still crying as we walked out to the car. i drove to the hospital while luke stayed in the back with the boys. when we got to the hospital we only had to wait an hour because it was very busy. we sat there in silence. when a nurse came out “brooks. leo brooks” we followed the nurse into the room and saw the doctor. i was nervous. “so is this leo?” i was silent in the corner. luke was the one that was answering her. “yes. my girlfriend accidentally hit his head against the wall.” she did some quick test on him, than gave him back to luke.
“well he is fine. babies are designed for new parents. i have many young new parents coming in most days because they hit their babies head against something. just try not to over react. he is fine” i was so revealed that he was ok. we payed the bill and went home. later in the after noon beau and jai came over. as soon as beau walked in he said what was on every one mind “so hows leo?”
“he’s fine. and you better watch out or i might throw you into a wall”
