Karina's POV
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything" she said. I looked at her and deep down, I wanted to say
"Yes bitch! You are interrupting my moment with my man...you know,the one you left on the altar" but I just had to be on a good behaviour
"Emily! You're here" Gabrielle said but she didn't really sound excited
"Of course I am. Why wouldn't I come?" She said with a smile on her face...bitch!
"No reason."Gabrielle said
" Merida, Hugo, congratulations. I wish you both a blissful marriage"she said before focusing her gaze to Jayson merely throwing me a quick glance. "Jayson, nice to see you again" she said with a cocky grin on her face
"Again?" Ray and Gabrielle asked at the same time
"Yeah. Didn't he tell you guys? We saw at dinner and we spoke just a little. You haven't introduced me to this beautiful lady you're with" she said looking me in the eyes. I gave her a very cocky smile
"I don't need anyone to introduce me. I'm Karina Foxwell Sarder, Xavier's sister and Jayson's girlfriend. And you are?" I asked putting my right hand out for a hand shake...I'm gonna rub it in this bitch's face. After I said that, her face froze and I could see her eyes clouding with anger and jealousy. On seeing this, I locked arms with Jayson with my second hand still giving my award winning cocky smile
"I'm Emily White. The wife of Ethan White and Jayson's ex fiancée. Nice to meet you." She said taking the handshake."Can I just say, I love your dress"she said and I could almost taste the sarcasm in every of her words
"Thank you. I love your shoes" I said with the same amount of sarcasm...two can play at this game
"Thanks."
"So Mrs White," Jayson said "where's your husband?"
"Oh Jayson, why are you calling me Mrs White? You know I don't like it" she said laughing and gently stroking his chest like I wasn't even there. I joined the laughter and slowly pulled him away from her.
"Well, he had a game to play so he couldn't make it. He sends his regards though" she said looking at the wedded couple
"Thank you guys so much. Well we have to go welcome all the guests. We'll catch up with you guys later" Hugo said taking his wife away
"Yeah uhhm, me and Ruby are going for some private time. We have a lot of catching up to do" Xavier said rolling his wheel chair away with Ruby behind him
"Yeah, we wanna go get something to drink. Bye guys!" Ray and Gabrielle said leaving just Jayson, me and the bitch
"Well, we wanna go dance. See you later Emily" I said locking arms with Jayson as we left her presence. I could almost feel her gaze burning the back of my head when we turned back and walked towards the dance floor.
"I love this side of you sweetheart" Jayson whispered to me
"Well I'm not gonna let anyone get all touchy with my man and start rubbing his chest like I ain't there...bitch!" I said
"Ooh! Feisty!"
"You know it!" I said
"Gosh, I love you!" He said
"I love you too sweetie!" I said. Over the three weeks we had spent together, we had passed the 'like' stage and moved to the 'love' stage. I realised that what I felt for him grew and became so intense that I couldn't control it anymore. It was then I realised I didn't just like him. I loved him and I cannot live without him. I love him with all my heart.
"So, why didn't you tell me you spoke to her that night?" I asked when we got to the dance floor. His arms went round my waist and slowly, we moved in sync with the song. It was really marvelous looking into those grey eyes that can make any girl melt...and I do mean any girl.
"Well like I said that day, nothing important. There was no point saying it and I mean, we weren't dating already so don't get mad at me now!"
"Of course not. I don't care. We weren't dating back then so, who cares? Not me!"... Lies!
we danced to the songs played. It was really romantic. After dancing, Jayson went to the bar to get a drink while I found Ruby alone and we started having a little girl chat. About ten minutes later, i looked back at the bar and saw Emily talking to Jayson. I wanted to go confront her but decided to be mature. I really missed my sister Kim. It's times like these she becomes the immature one and does the stupid things. I hope to see her soon. Some minutes later, an announcement was made
" Good evening everyone, the couple's dance will soon begin, so boyfriend's grab your girlfriend's and move to the dance floor. If you are here alone, find someone to dance with you. "
I began scanning the room for Jayson until I saw him walking my way drowsily
"Babe, what's the matter with you"I asked concerned
" I don't know, j feel funny. I'm gonna go up to one of the hotel rooms to lay down for a bit"he said
"Okay, let's go"
"No don't worry,enjoy the party. The fun part is always the ending. You have fun. Love you." He said giving me a little kiss in the lips
"Love you"
He walked away and I felt really bad. I ended up dancing with one of Merida's brothers who kept on hitting on me through out the dance. I mean he was hot but not my type. I only do Jayson Sanders'. After the dance, I hung out with my girls for sometime. Luckily, the bitch Emily wasn't with them. When the party was almost over, I told them I was going to check up on Jayson before excusing myself.
I got his room number from the receptionist. I went to his room which was on the top floor. When I got to the front of the room door, I started hearing weird sounds which sounded like...moans!! I quietly opened the room door praying my ears were wrong, but they weren't. I opened the door and saw a red off shoulder dress which was very familiar roughly spread on the floor with a pair of silver heels dumped beside it. Next to it was a red pair of ripped up lingerie and black tuxedo pants and shirt. I knew the owners of those clothes! I just didn't want to believe it. Slowly, I lifted up my head to the bed and saw a nude lady on her hands and knees while a very muscular and erect man rammed into her with hard and mighty thrusts while he pulled on her hair like she were some horny slut. None of them even looked my way. I guess they were too engrossed in the moment. She moaned out of pleasure and I couldn't hold it anymore. Hot tears spilled out of my eyes and I dashed out of the room but not before seeing the nasty smirk on her face.
He lied to me! Nothing was wrong with him! He just wanted to come have sex with his ex!He cheated! He chose her! He went back to his ex! She won! Congratulations Emily White, you won Jayson!
