Karina's POV
After leaving the hospital, I got a message from an unknown number containing Xavier's address. I got a taxi and told him my destination. We hadn't moved up to ten minutes when my phone beeped and a message entered. It was the number who sent Xavier's address. The message read
"It's Jayson by the way. Now I have your number;)"
When I got the message, a smile slowly appeared on my face. I tried to fight it but I just couldn't. But of course, I can't let him know I like that he has my number so I replied
"Well congratulations,but I hope you know that changing numbers really isn't that difficult;)"
Yup, bitchy Karina is back!
I put down my phone and not too long later, another message came in.
"I know, but I know you won't change your number just because of me. Or do I affect you that much Miss Foxwell Sarder?:)"
Oh now it's game on
"You're right Mr Sanders, I won't change my number just because of a rude nymph like yourself. Now if you don't mind, I am really tired and I need some rest. So goodbye Mr Sanders." I sent before turning my phone off.
I finally got to Xavier's house and it was really nice and tidy. I mean, Kudos to him. I expected his house to be all trashed up but I guess that's just a stereotype for all boys to be dirty. I found a room but it turned out to be Xavier's so I went to the other. It was really nice. The walls were painted in peach colour and there was a queen size bed which sat comfortably at the middle of the room. Beside the bed was a night stand. There was a big wardrobe and on the wall hung pictures of race cars. I dropped my things and lucky me, I found the bar. I took one of the red wines produced by my company before returning to my room to take off my clothes and let my hair down. I went into the bathroom to have a warm and relaxing bath. I filled the tub with bubbles and got in but not before pouring myself a glass of red wine. It was an amazing bath. After the bath, I changed into my bear themed pajama pants and a white round neck shirt before finally laying on the bed to sleep.
I was awoken the next day by the smell of pancakes and bacon and when my stomach grumbled, I realised I was very hungry. I got up and remembered I had been the only one in the house the previous night and I had locked the door so "who was cooking breakfast?" I quickly grabbed one of my stiletto heels as a weapon and headed to the kitchen where I saw a lady wearing a blue pair of jeans and a black long sleeve shirt making breakfast. Her black pin straight hair ran all the way down to her lower back and she had a really slim waist...just like mine. I quickly jumped into the kitchen with my black stiletto pointed forward ready to jab this hot criminal in the guts.
"Who are you and what are you doing in this house?" I asked from behind her and then she turned revealing a beautiful pair of violet eyes and lips as red as a rose.
"Aaah! Please put the weap...shoe down. I'm Ruby. I was in the hospital yesterday. I'm Xavier's girlfriend. I have a key that's how I got in." She said and then I recognised her. I had seen her in the hospital with Xavier and she was being all cute with him. Yuck!
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I couldn't recognise you from behind. Wow! you have got a really nice waist there girl" I said putting the shoe down
"I have to say, so do you. Are you a model as well?" She asked me.
"No I'm not but I'm guessing you are?"
"Yeah I am. So, I made breakfast. I'm taking some to Xavier. You can have some if you'd like. I'm sure you haven't had anything to eat right?"
"Uhhm... No,no I haven't."
"Well here you go " she said giving me a plate of pancakes,bacon and eggs while pouring me a glass of orange juice.
"Thanks" I said taking a bite of the pancake "These are amazing."I said stuffing my face with pancakes and bacon
" Thank you. Well I've gotta run now. I'm sure Xavier's hungry. I have to give him his food. "
"Oh, okay. I'll go see him later "
"Okay. If you'd like, I can come over after dropping off the food with Xavier. I'm sure you area bored to death here all alone."
"Yeah, it's really lonely here. If you can I would really appreciate it if you came."
"No problem. I'll be right back. Bye Karina." She said leaving the house
"Bye!"
She's really nice. I hope Xavier isn't just playing with her heart. She is a real sweetheart. After eating, I took a shower and put on a short flower patterned long sleeved a line dress. My hair was packed in a neat bun which sat on the top of my head and I wore nice stud earrings. My lips, a perfect shade of baby pink and on my feet, a pair of furry slides. Not too long later, Ruby came over. We talked and laughed, we exchanged contacts and watched movies. She followed me when I went to see Xavier in the hospital and after that, we went to the mall. I had so much fun with her. Being with her made me miss my sister Kim. We always had fun together. By the time we were done at the mall, it was already eight in the evening. I returned to Xavier's house while she went back to her house. I was so tired. When I got to the house, I took a quick shower and changed into a pair of blue shorts which clung to my skin emphasizing my curves and a big grey sweater. My luscious waves were left cascading down to below my waist and I was wearing my furry slides again. I went to the living room to watch a movie and not too long into the movie, the door bell rang. The time was past ten in the night and I wasn't expecting any guests. I went to the door and opened it and I was surprised to see who it was.
"Hello Miss Foxwell Sarder " Jayson said holding a suitcase with his hand and giving me a very sexy smirk
"What are you doing here? And why are you holding a suitcase?" I asked confused
"Well, my house got infested so I had to leave there. My good buddy Xavier said I can stay here till all the insects are gone"
"And that will be when?"
"Next month " he said still smirking
"What?!"
"Yup. I'm moving in for a month. Looks like we're gonna be roommates Miss Foxwell." He said with a smirk
