Chapter Two

Jayson's POV

"What?!" I say as my eyes grew as wide a saucers

"Look, I didn't want you to find out this way and not today. I was going to tell you later if you hadn't found out already "

"Wow...she really is a bitch" I say

"Jayson, don't insult her. She's still my friend you know "

"But I'm saying the truth. Emily is a bitch. She is a BITCH!" I yell

"Okay, that's enough"

"No, no it's not enough. She left me at the altar looking stupid and while I was here locked up in my house, she marries someone else and now she is probably on her honeymoon. FUCK!!!" I say angrily

"I know it hurts, but she moved on. It's time for you to do the same"

"It's not as easy as it sounds Gabby. I really love her but apparently, she didn't feel the same way. "I say feeling really hurt

"Aww come here" she says pulling me in for a hug

"Well at least I know nobody from our family went for the wedding so that is really comforting " I say looking her in the eyes waiting to be reassured that I was right

"Uhhm..." She says looking away from me

"Wait a minute, did you go for the wedding?" I say

"Uhhm..."

"Gabrielle??"

"All right yes, yes I did"

"Oh my god! You're a backstabber!"I say hurt but in a light tone

"Oh come on Jayson, she is still my friend. We all spoke to her about what she did and she is really sorry. "She says already feeling guilty as she should

"I can't believe you attended the wedding "

"I had to. I was a bridesmaid "

"You were her bridesmaid?!"

"I should have just kept my mouth shut"she sighed " yes, yes I was "

" Are you mad at me?" She says in a really cute way like she always did when we were younger

"Not mad, just disappointed" I say

"Look I'm sorry. But you don't expect me to end my friendship with her because of you. That wouldn't be right "

"I guess you're right."

"Yeah I am" she says with a smirk

"I agree with you. I need a vacation"I say

"You really do"

"But I have to go to work to see how things are first"

"Okay. Do that but now I've gotta run. Ray and I have dinner plans. " she squealed
