Laying carelessly on the soft sand, gentle and relaxing,
Going to the beach was a Summer activity that wasn't very taxing.
The sun shines brightly, radiating from its spot in the bright blue sky,
But with temperatures so high they make you ask 'why'?
The beautiful deep blue sea glistens and twinkles in a sunny reflection,
Waves roll up onto the shore and wash away things without intention.
Comfy cotton t-shirts and light coloured shorts are perfect to wear,
And bring tons of food so you have something to share.
Take time to take in the scenery that surrounds you,
Ask yourself for reasons why such a beautiful landscape grew.
Lay happily in the sun for a good looking tan,
Or sit in the shade under an umbrella with a fan.
Summer is the perfect time for fun family vacations,
That is why it is favoured throughout all of the nations!
