Organisation

A stack of white paper filed away neatly in one compact pile,

Another sheet or two of loose paper that I need to put in a new file.

In a little pencil holder are pens sorted by brand, colour and size,

The stack of paper was colour-coded using paper clips, what a surprise!

A pearly white stand was at the back of the table with a million sticky notes on top,

It fell when a few where removed, it just went plop!

A/N: The next poem is inspired by 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'

Flowery Bed

A soft hillside far off in the distance away from pesky mortals,

To get there is quite simple, just go through a couple of portals!

Then you'll find a nice patch covered in simple pretty white daisies,

You can lie down for a while, underneath a tree if you're really lazy.

If not you can run through the rose garden, watch the petals float through the air,

Collapse onto a bed of roses and gaze at the sky until you're hit with a pear.

Wake up and see a mischievous fairy playing with your basket of fruit,

Another's juggling to the music begin played by a fairy on the lute.

Pluck a rose and give it to them while you walk away to go home,

So you go home and sleep on a proper bed with a mattress made of memory foam.

Darkness

Surrounded by the unknown, you can't see without the aid of light,

It's a mystery or an illusion, something strange could lurk behind every corner.

Perfect for sleeping but literally nothing else, I guess watching movies counts,

But so much is hidden from you, which is what makes it so scary.

Suddenly, you hear a shuffle come from your closet, a strange concerning sound,

You open your closet, oh, it's just your friendly neighbourhood murderer!
