Innocence

Cute little pink puffy dresses and fairy wings,

Making roleplays where we were queens and kings.

Frolicking around our backyards while popping bubbles,

Playing tag where the slow ones chances doubled.

We're just sweet ignorant children that are young and scrappy,

Telling made up stories that make us happy.

Polka dot skirts and cute clean tiny blouses,

Hanging out with playmates at each other's houses.

Inside always longing for more of this sweet fun and bliss,

Always having fun on playdates and coming home to mama's kiss.

But as we age our childishness fades away,

As we go on to see the next sunny day.

But forever our innocent blissful childhood remains...
