Galaxy

The deep shades of purple, blue, pink and black blend seamlessly into each other,

"They make a beautiful combination!" is what I said to my mother.

The stars were mesmerising, when I first saw them I forgot how to breathe,

They were so beautiful, twinkling stars, faraway planets, it was too good to believe.

The night sky is only half as good from Earth as it is from up in the sky,

They should know, they went up there without even saying goodbye.

Dance

Moving my feet to the rhythm in sync with the beat,

Grooving to the music is good it makes my life complete.

Spinning around the dance floor, I probably got to every side,

I look for my friend in a crowd of people, she's always trying to hide.

The music is too loud but I don't care cause it's just her and me,

And my friend might think that she's lame but she's as great as far as I can see.

Beauty

What is beauty, is it something pretty and appealing to the eye?

I've always wondered what truly defines beauty and who has it.

Is it looks, how you dress, how you style your hair or wear something nice?

Does looking good show your beauty, if not then what does?

Well, though it's most likely incorrect, I think I have an answer,

Real beauty is who you are as a person no matter what you look like,

I guess that means we're all beautiful...

A/N: This book will be on hiatus for the next week as I am struggling to come up with ideas. Thank you for reading this.
