Rage

A burning flame twisting and turning beginning to burn brighter,

Sometimes a small remark can show who is a fighter.

It's a ticking time bomb set off cause someone pulled the trigger,

The bottled-up anger seems to just blow up and get bigger.

Clashing of fists, kicking, screaming, shouting, beating, hitting,

Why can't we just do something nice and peaceful like knitting?

If only they could chill out then everything might be okay,

But rage must come again to plague and ruin our day.

Jealousy, anguish, burning, disgust, envy, makes people burst into flames,

Throwing punches, taking blows and yelling a bunch of names.

When will this anger stop, could someone get an extinguisher please,

Once this raging sea calms down my mind can be at ease.

Though sometimes you need to just let it go and let the rage burn out,

Releasing anger, breaking things with you scream and shout.

All I'm saying is that sometimes you don't act like your age,

But that is what happens when you are insane and filled with rage.
