A stretch of bright green grass patches, devoid of pesky weeds,
Close by the crystalline lake, in direct sun, with access to everything it needs.
Clusters of miniature white daisies litter the grass patches,
Given adequate shade from the old oak trees were a baby bird hatches.
A charming clearing in the middle of a beautiful mythical forest,
Some people came to have picnics as the scenery was simply the best.
Little woodland animals settled in the meadow, like rabbits and deers,
The meadow was so quiet and peaceful that it drowned out the preys' fears.
Every day there were warm vibrant blue skies with saturated picturesque sunsets,
Occasionally some would talk a walk through the meadow and bring their pets.
A sweet gentle breeze brushes through, sweeping up a dandelion puff,
The meadow's beauty was pleasing but for some, it was never enough.
