Little bits of rainbow confetti is sprinkled throughout the air,
It was a day full of laughter and joy that made messes though no one would care!
Pastel pink banners hung up on every wall and above every door,
This party for decorated like it was meant for someone turning four.
Everyone was having a good time, eating snacks and chasing each other around,
People were making a lot of noise, it was a jumbled up sound.
'Happy Birthday' echoed throughout the house, everyone had said it,
Then it was announced that the cake was ready and the candles were lit.
Piled into the room were fifteen little children with a parent each,
All of the cake was covered in a pretty frosting that was a light peach.
In the centre of it all was the birthday girl, basking in all of this attention,
She eagerly blew out of the pink candles which removed any tension.
After that, her parents cut the birthday cake and we each got a slice,
We played some party games for the rest of the day and overall it was quite nice.
