Chapter 15: Finding Answers

When Cyfer opened the door that led us inside the Black Hole, I was blinded by different  sparkling lights. Sumalubong din sa amin ang ingay ng bandang kasalukuyang tumutugtog sa stage. Nilibot ko ang aking paningin sa kabuuhan ng Black Hole. Nakatayo kami ni Cyfer sa entrance nito at bumungad sa amin ang mga taong nagsasayawan sa dance floor. There were so many people at the center and they were dancing wildy. I watched them in utter awe. I've never been inside a bar before and like I said, ang mga napanuod ko lang sa TV ang nagbigay sa akin ng ideya kung anong itsura ng isang normal na bar but standing here, witnessing the actual scenario overwhelmed me. The noise was deafening and the smell really made my system stir.

"What do you think?" Cyfer shouted so I could hear him. He was standing beside me and he was looking at me, waiting for my reaction.

I shook my head, speechless. I can't believe I made it here.

I observed every part of the bar and noticed the bar counter on the right side of the huge circular room. May mga bar tenders sa loob nito at busy ang mga iyon sa pagaasikaso ng mga  costumers. Some couples were making out right at the far end corner of the bar kaya I made a face at agad na inialis ko ang tingin ko sa mga iyon.

My eyes traveled until my gaze fell on the live band on stage. I saw Crozen at the center stage at tumutugtog ito ng gitara habang kumakanta. Sa bandang likuran niya naman ay nakapwesto sa harap ng drum set ang isang lalake. He's banging his head while playing, lost in their music. The other other guy were playing a keyboard and the last one was assigned on bass. They all look handsomely great.

Crozen looks good on stage with the guitar on his hands. Nakayuko siya at nakatingin sa guitara niya habang tumutugtog at hindi niya iniaangat ang tingin niya kaya hindi niya ako nakita. I tried to mentally called his name to get his attention pero mukhang nageenjoy siya sa pagtugtog. Naramdaman ko namang lumanding ang kamay ni Cyfer sa bewang ko kaya nagitla ako.

I glared at him pero ngumiti lang siya.

"See? I told you they're still playing." he said nodding at his bandmates.

Tumango naman ako pero may napansin ako kaya ako'y napakunot noo.

"Aren't you supposed to join them?" nagtatakang tanong ko.

He shook his head. "Nah. I'm not in the mood to play. Besides, last two songs na lang naman eh." sagot niya.

Bigla namang may lumapit sa aming dalawang lalake at amoy alak ang mga iyon. The two guys seem to look fairly alike. Pareho silang my blonde hair, matangos na ilong at maninipis na mga lips. They look good but they smell different. Mukhang nakarami na ata sila ng inom at pasuray suray na rin ang kanilang paglalakad. When they reached us, napasiksik ako kay Cyfer na agad naman akong inakbayan. I tried to shrug his arms off my shoulder but he pulled me closer to him.

"Easy, pretty girl. Stay cool." bulong niya sa akin. I tried my best to stay calm but my heart were banging loudly on my chest.

"Yow Cyferrrr. Ifakilala mo namaan kamiii sa magandang babaeng kasamaaa mooo." nakangising sabi ng isa sa dalawang lalake kay Cyfer pero sa akin ito nakatingin. I shivered in terror. Oh no. Not now.

Cyfer smiled at him. "Yo Sethran. Mukhang lasing na kayo ah? Why don't you go home and rest? Let's just do the proper introduction some other time."  kalmadong sagot niya sa mga ito.

The guy named Sethran growled but his companion pulled him away. "Tara na Ran. Next time na lang." anito sa kanya habang nakatingin kay Cyfer. Mukhang kinakabahan ito kaya dali dali niya ng hinila palayo ang kanyang kasama.
