It's not a date

That very evening when I got home I felt so good. I had this smile on my face and I was looking forward to tomorrow with such high hopes. I don't know what it is but I got this feeling that everything is going to be fine. I already know where I'm taking them. I unlocked my phone and created a group chat. Now since it's Saturday I'd say a good hour to see each other is at about 4 PM. The place? Old Cabin Cafe.

I mean just look how cosy it looks like

I mean just look how cosy it looks like. I can't wait to sip from my latte in there. I've been eyeing this place for a while now.

The group chat:

Me: 'So guys! I say 4 PM Old Cabin Cafe. Does it work for you?'

Emma: It works for me just fine. Is it that fancy super good looking cafe on Melford Grove?

Me: 'The very one!'
Aya: OMG!! I've been wanting to go there for forever.

Andrea: 'So what?! I'm out of the country for a couple of years and they build fancy stuff?? Of course, it works at 4 PM.'

Me: That reminds me. World this is Andrea. My oldest friend. Andrea these are my colleagues.

Anja: 'I'll be a bit late... Got some stuff to do... Uhm... Don't wait for me? But I'll be there at some point :)))'

Me: 'Ethan and Adrian?'

*Ethan is typing...*

Ethan: 'Sure. I'll be there. Oh, and Adrian is going to be there as well he just can't be on the phone right now.'

I wonder why... He better not be in some shit.

And so I went to sleep in one of the best moods I've been lately in. Tomorrow is going to be epic.
I wake up feeling rested. I could feel the energy flowing through my veins. It was sunny and cloudless. The weather keeps improving and so does my spirit. I swear I don't thrive when it's cold and gloomy. But a little sunshine and I come back to life. Just like a plant I guess.
It was about 12 PM. I followed my routine, had breakfast. Then I opened my laptop and played my playlist of good vibes songs. I was dancing and humming the lyrics. I was feeling myself and no one could take that away from me. The truth is all I was missing was somebody to share the vibe with. Where's Andrea? She should have been here.
*My phone rings*
Me: 'Andrea? Where are you? What time is it?'
Andrea: 'Chill bro! I lost the tram and my mother kept bothering me with stupid shit again. I'll be there in 10'

I hung up and then someone knocks at my door. It must be mom. My stepdad always never comes into my room.
Me: 'Come in! ' I said as I lowered the volume. ' What's up?'
Mom: 'Nothing I was just checking on you.' She said smiling. ' It's just I could hear from my room... I haven't seen you this happy in a long time honey. It suits you.
