-Yo Aiden what's up? said none other than the blonde I just dreamt the other night as he "friendly" slapped the back of my had.
-That hurts you, idiot! It's great to see that Summer hasn't matured you at all!"Really? That's what you're going for? He's not mature enough? How about picking on his dolphin nose! Why do I always think of cool comebacks only after I say something stupid? Shaking my head so much."
This is what I was saying to myself as I was rubbing my neck and as I was finding my seat.
"There it is my old seat. My old faithful. But was it really that great of a spot? Do I want to switch it up this year? I mean I am getting tired of having that nauseating specimen behind me. The only seats left for grabs are behind him with Nathan or behind Nathan with Maya and her mom. C'mon think fast, think fast. Who'd you like to spend the rest of the year with? The somewhat hot "other" blonde in the room or the quirky always smiling newly disabled ray of sunshine? If you stay with Nathan not only do you get pleasant views to the right but you could have some fun with what's in front of you."
I thought to myself with a smirk forming on my face, that I was unaware of.
-Hey bro, that seat taken?
-No?! he looked puzzled but somewhat warm like he's anticipating what I'm about to ask. Does he want me to seat with him?"STOP OVERTHINKING AND COME BACK TO REALITY IT'S BEEN MORE THAN 15 SECONDS SINCE YOU LAST SAID SOMETHING!"
-Oh cool... Can I seat with you this term? I said much more nervous than I intended. Quite very shy actually.
He didn't answer, but instead, he emptied the seat even before I could finish my sentence and tapped the now empty chair. How nice of him. I don't know why I always am so nervous about socializing.
-What?! No way you're sitting behind me! Don't you even think of doing anything to me, you hear me? when did he even pop back in my eyesight?
-Why does everything have to always be about you? The only thing that I would try do to you is maybe crack your skull open so I can see the whiteboard."Yes! You nailed this one. Woop! It feels good to clap back sometimes. It just sends this weird but exhilarating feeling through my body. Just like if I were in a rollercoaster...oh wait up dummy... you feel the adrenaline coursing through your body."
*Adrian scoffs and goes away
-Whatever, just make sure you behave! he said as he walked away to Caleb.
-Can you believe that guy? Ugh, he drives me insane! I swear if I could I would beat his ass.
-Shut up! You like it!
-No I don't! the words flew my mouth as my cheeks reddened.I do like it. I have to admit it. I like banter and I do like this back and forth thing I have with him. With anyone to be honest. Isn't there always something amazingly weird that you sometimes develop with a person that lights up the friendship with each other? Like for example, take Emma. Every time a mini cooper or a smart car passes by the one who sees it has to punch in the arm the other one. If he says stop you stop punching if he doesn't you keep on punching.
-Yeah you do. It's ok, it's almost 2017, we don't judge anymore.
-Stop it! I said as I softly punched his arm.
His reaction was priceless. He made a deeply hurt look like I'd hit him super hard and then faked a tear. So, of course, I punched harder this time so he'd have a good motive to be "crying".-No, don't, DON'T! No, leave me alone! I screamed as he started tickling me. I can't breathe! Stop!
I was laughing historically. I couldn't free myself, I had my back at the wall and I was seated. He's stronger than me even if we're the same height-ish.
