Gaining Hope: a flutterdash fanfic

Dash's POV- after what I did to Soarin I felt completely bad and decided to call him.

-Dash's and Soarin's phone convo-
Dash: hey soar...
Soarin: hey rainbow..
Dash: sorry about last night...
Soarin: oh what that? Oh it's fine.
Dash: seriously?
Soarin: no, it isn't fine.
Dash: um...
Soarin: you don't get that I really like you, but you don't care.
Dash: Soar, c'mon...
Soarin: No, RainbowDash... I'm tired of having all these feeling for you and I end up getting shut down. This is it, goodbye!

-Soarin hangs up and dash sits on her bed-

I have zero clues for what his problem is. He got stood up, so what, he'll learn from it.

Well...well...hopefully Pinkie'll wanna come over even though it's like 10 o'clock.

Wait...on second thought, I want some time alone. So I grab my skate board and skate around in the dark for a bit.

Skating is one thing that I like other than sports. Or..is skating a sport. I don't know, but it makes me feel really good afterwards. I do a few flips and tricks and I see Rarity and AppleJack down the street, I hide in a few bushes near by and I eavesdrop on their conversation. Not much talking, nothing but kissing. I wasn't shocked that much, because I always sorta knew that they had a thing for each other.

"Jackie..." I hear rarity say.

"Yeah?" AppleJack Said.

"I'm telling the girls..." Rarity said.

"What..." Aj said as she stared at rarity.

"That's right! I can't take this anymore! I want our friends to know about you and I." Rarity said as she started walking away.

"Alright, Alright... Tomorrow we tell them..." Aj said as she pulled rarity back and kissed her one last time before getting in her truck and taking rarity I guess home.

I skate for a few minutes before making my way back to my house, I have school tomorrow and I'm thinking about what it's gonna be like seeing FlutterShy, I knew I should've gotten her number.
