Fireball followed Amos's lead. He did not know where they were going. From the backpack Amos gave the dragon directions. So many turns had Fireball confused, but when he came down under the clouds, he immediately recognized where he was. The place had changed, but he still knew it. Fireball landed, and Amos swirled out of the backpack in a large puff of smoke.

"Well, it may not be much right now, but this place has history." said Amos. This is a very special place and as we restore the town, I will explain everything. We will expand the old training school and make it better than it was before."

Fireball did not see it. The evil wizards had destroyed the old town and there was the mountain. Fireball did not know how it happened or who had done it, but somehow a mountain had grown up through the middle of the prince's castle that had been situated on the edge of town. Amos told him not to worry. The town had a few structures they would be able to keep, but Amos thought the large clearing down the road would be more suitable to rebuild the town. Larger training school, bigger town and more people.

A puzzled Fireball questioned Amos. "Where will the new, larger training school be? Outside the town? It would have to be built on the other side of the mountain. That would be very inconvenient!"

"It would indeed." Chuckled Amos. "Especially since on the other side of the mountain is a large body of water. To that side there, it is all desert land." Amos pointed to the right side of the mountain.

Still confused, the dragon flew right up in front of Amos's face and stared at him. He was looking for the wizard to expand on his explanation.

Still chuckling, Amos reached out and grabbed Fireball, setting him on his shoulder so the two faced the same direction. He then pointed straight ahead.

"The school will be in the mountain. Come, let me show you. In case you didn't know, the prince was the one who created the mountain. When his family was attacked, he grew the mountain right up through his castle, killing all the dark wizards in the area. He also cast many spells on the mountain to protect it from evil. In his journal he explained what he did and why. The mountain is alive. The prince started the process and the mountain took over. There are already many floors, rooms and hidden rooms, everything. Students will find new spaces in the mountain for decades, as it continues to evolve. At the same time the mountain will work hard to protect all the students and teachers in the school."

Fireball was starting to like some things about magic. Though he was sure it was going to take a lot more than magic to revive the town and training school. Amos explained the prince had already planned a large expansion for the training school before he died and the World Wizarding Council had approved it. Amos was sure they would work hard to still make it happen.

Over the next few decades Amos, with the help of some other wizards, rebuilt the town and enticed even more wizards to come and live there. Several new shops opened up and the town began to thrive. The training school grew as did its reputation. Soon students from every corner of the Terrenox were training at the mountain.

Through the growth of the town and school, Amos and Fireball continued to search the world for Marcello's wand, resulting in many battles with evil wizards. The two became quite an unstoppable pair, playing on each others strengths, often taking down evil groups that outnumbered them.

Amos also kept his promise to the prince, keeping his family safe. In the early years it was easy as they only had to watch over Victor, the prince's son, but after he married and had two children, it became a little more difficult.

As they moved down generations, Amos sought the help of others to help protect the family. Following the journal, he took care making sure Fireball, he and only a few trusted close friends were the only ones watching out for the ones who were in direct line to descendants the prince predicted could save the world. There were only a few incidents over the years and Amos hoped that meant the evil wizards did not know what the prince had predicted would happen 500 years into the future. Though in the back of his mind he had a feeling that they did know, or they had wizards who could see into the future and they would tell the evil wizards.

Amos struggled with how he could protect the saviors once they were born, until they had the power, wisdom and strength, to defeat evil. One day he received something that could help him tremendously. It was something always near him, but he didn't know it until then.
