Damien got woken up by a different caretaker. As soon as she left, Damien changed into his outfit for the day, grabbed a book, his sketching block and a pencil and went downstairs to the giant front hall.

It was kinda like the common room, just without a TV and all it had were toys for different ages, a bookshelf and tables and chairs of different sizes. There was also a corner with pillows. Damien was the only one to ever go there when families arrived. Other kids were scared that they might not be seen in this corner.

The other orphans slowly started to fill the room. Kids started playing together or with the toys, teenagers started to talk with each other.
It wasn't until 11 am that everyone was in the room. Like predicted, Damien was the only one in the corner. He was rereading the book of his choice quietly, not noticing anything that happened around him.

At 1 pm everyone ate lunch, then returned to the front hall.
Damien returned to his corner quietly before he started drawing.
He drew a prince like in the movies the orphanage would watch. Every Friday was movie night were they all watched together. They had a TV room for the old ones, 15 to 18, where they would watch the movie they agreed on. Mostly more adult-y movies. Then there was the middle room, for the ones 10 to 14. They would watch the ones they agreed on with the caretakers. And then for everyone under ten. The caretakers would choose the movie for them. It was always Disney, Sony or Dreamworks.

Anyways, Damien was drawing a prince like he saw in these movies. Or more likely, what the alien Stitch would look like as a prince. After he was satisfied with what he drew, he started drawing Stitches friend Lilo as a princess next to Stitch.
Stitch still had his ears and his hair was blue. He and Lilo were the same age like Lilo was in the movie. Lilo looked a lot like the original, just that she was wearing a red and white dress that looked a lot more royal. Stitch was wearing a white and black suite with a blue sash.

When he finally looked up from his drawing, he noticed how much time had passed. It was already four pm, at five the time for the families was over.

There were only five men left. A man in a brown leather jacket that was talking with the eleven year old girl that destroyed his glasses, a stern looking man with a blue tie that seemed to be ignored by the other kids, a really dark dressed guy that looked like he wanted to be anywhere but here (Damien silently agreed with that), a man with a grey cardigan around his neck who just beamed brighter than the sun and a man that looked like a Disney Prince. Oddly enough, all of them but the man in the brown jacket were ignored by the other children.
