Thanks to Logan, he now understood what the teachers were teaching and could actually do his homework's. Everything seemed so much easier now. He didn't have to ask anyone for help this time but still asked if everything was correct when he finished. And it was.
"Hey Dami!", Patton yelled from the kitchen. "Want some ice cream?"
Damien jumped up from his desk and ran down the stairs, nearly falling in the process if Roman didn't catch him.
"Better be more careful next time", he smiled. Damien nodded and proceeded to walk down the stairs like a normal human being.
When his feet touched the floor the boy continued to run to the kitchen.
Patton was standing there with a pack of popsicles in hand. Logan was standing next to him, eating an apple while Virgil was sitting on the counter, sucking on a popsicle.
"Patton, popsicles and ice cream are not the same"
"Put they're both frozen and delicious!", Patton argues with Logan, while he handed the kid one. Damien giggled a little at their argument and climbed up to Virgil on the counter. The side helped him up so that the boy wouldn't hurt himself or fall in the process.
Roman entered the kitchen after Damien sat down, smiling at the sight in front of him. He grabbed himself an apple. "Hopefully you won't choke on it", Virgil smirked slightly.
"Then my prince has to kiss me back to life!", Roman said dramatically, before sitting down on an actual chair.
Thomas followed a few minutes later, smiling brightly when he saw his family, especially Damien with Virgil on the counter.
He quickly grabbed his phone and took a photo of the five of them, thinking about posting it. Thomas decided to do that later.
"Hey guys, what'cha doin'?", the man asked smiling. Damien grinned as good as he could, while pointing at the popsicle in his mouth.
"Ah, I see!", Thomas responded, then looked at Patton who was still holding the box. "Can I have one?", he smiled. Patton instantly nodded. "Sure thing kiddo!", he said while handing the man the object of his desire.
"Hey Damien?", Thomas asked and continued when the boy looked up. "I've got an audition this Friday, so I won't be able to get you from school and the others have to come with me, I was wondering if you'd like to spend the afternoon with a friend of mine that can also get you home after school", Thomas said, worried about the boys reaction. He knew that the kid wasn't good with strangers.
Damien had to process these information but when he did, his eyebrows furrowed a little. Thomas knew he wasn't good with people, right? But the boy also knew that Thomas was an actor and he definetly didn't want his Dad to miss the chance of a role because of him. So after a little thinking, he finally nodded, making Thomas smile im relieve. "Awesome! His name is Emile Picani, I'm sure you'll like him!"
