After I arrived home, I grabbed an apple. I was about to bite into red, delicious looking fruit, when Ryder came in looking extremely pissed off, more so than he usually is. I wasn't sure if I should ask him what's wrong though, but I knew that it must have involved Alexa in some way. But I don't really care about any of my brothers' issues. Another part of me was way too nosy, though.
"Hey, Ryder," I said, biting into the apple. He glared at me. "Want this?" I gestured to the quarter eaten apple — it was a big bite, okay? He continued to glare at me. This apple alone should have improved his mood, especially since I was offering it to him, considering I'm not too fond of sharing my fruit with anyone.
"You won't believe what happened!" Ryder said, marching over to me, his teeth greeted and his eyes narrowed. His nostrils flared. He grabbed my apple and threw it into the trash without a second glance, not caring about my horrified look. Um, well that was rude! Can't a guy eat in peace around here?
"What was that for?" I questioned, staring at the trash can. That poor, poor apple. What did it ever do to Ryder? It deserves to be eaten by me. Yet I was unable to eat it... You will be missed, apple....
"The apple isn't important!" Ryder said, his tone a little louder than necessary. I've never been more offended in my life by a single statement. "Notice anything strange?" Ryder questioned me suddenly, moving on from the topic of the apple, "Involving, maybe, an annoying little brat that has an A in her name?"
"Anora?" I questioned, remembering that five year old that kicked me in my manly area because I refused to give her my My Little Pony collectibles. I don't even like My Little Pony — I just liked collecting things, so was my... manly area worth that, something I didn't even like?
"What? No!" Ryder said, scrunching up his face in an annoyed way, that suggested that I was an idiot, but he has no room to talk. "Are you some kind of retard?" Ryder said, and even though I didn't like the slur that he used, I was about to smartly say yes, when he continued on. "I'm talking about Alexa. That really, really annoying girl."
"Oh," I said. "Yeah, um, where is she?" I couldn't help but ask, noticing that she didn't come home.
"Where's who?" a new voice said. Either Justin or Jason, I dunno, I wasn't looking and their voices are the same. They both entered the kitchen, so yeah, I don't know, man.
"Alexa," I answered.
Justin and Jason exchanged looks. I stared at them suspiciously, then trained my look on Ryder, who was still fuming, night I add.
"She probably ran away, or something," Zach said, also entering.
Why is everyone here? Can't I be alone without annoyances in my life? Is that too much to ask for? I doubt what Zach said is even true. But if she's not here, then I can finally——
"Something like that," Ryder huffed, causing me to lose my train of thought. "I'm so bored, and she's not here...."
I blinked. "What do you mean?"
"She's staying over at a friend's house for an unknown amount of time," Ryder said.
I blinked again. "But she doesn't have any girl friends..." I said.
"Looks like someone has a brain," one of the twins muttered.
"She literally stayed at this guy's house before!" Ryder reminded me. "I think his name's Jackson. He's in my history class. I don't really care though, so..."
He was literally so angry a few seconds ago, what the actual fu—-
Zach sighed. "I'm too old for this drama," he muttered, walking away.
"I'm gonna go play video games now..." Ryder said. He, too, walked away.
"Does anyone know where Jackson lives?" I asked, only the twins hearing me, of course.
Once again, they exchanged looks. WHY ARE THEY DOING THAT! Are they secretly plotting a murder or something? Is it mine? Or are they using twin telepathy?
Justin sighed. "I do, don't ask me how though," he said. "Erm, why?"
"I'm going to get Alexa," I said in a 'duh' voice. Like, are they dumb?
Ryder suddenly appeared again. I don't know where he came from.... "Why would you do that?" he asked. Should I even bother to respond? It's like I'm the only sane one around here anymore.
"Because." That was the only reason I gave my brother.
Zach, too, returned. "What are you gonna do?"
I groaned. "Get Alexa, keep up!" I clapped in his face — I don't really know why though.
Zach nodded. "Okay, whatever..." he said.
"We'll come too," Jason spoke up. Justin nodded in agreement. Er, okay? Why though....
"Also, there's something I need to tell you all and I don't see why not now!" I clasped my hands together. My brothers just stared at me impatiently. "I'm gay," I blurted out.
"Like... happy?" Ryder asked, confused. He's so dumb, I swear.
"We know," Jason and Justin said at once.
"Totally," Zach nodded.
"Wait, how?" I gaped.
"Why would he need to announce that he's happy?" Ryder questioned.
"No, as in I like men!" I snapped, as realization hit Ryder like a ton of bricks.
"But.... you've had so many girlfriends before, like... what?" Ryder said. "Are you sure you're not bi? HOW DOES EVERYONE ELSE KNOW!"
"Hm, not bi." I grinned.
"Oh... okay, I need to go process this now." Ryder walked away again, this time confused.
Zach rolled his eyes.
"You not coming?" I asked him.
Zach shook his head and walked off. Well, okay than. Guess it's just me and the twins.
"Why are you two coming?" I questioned them.
Justin sighed. "We, um, actually... feel so guilty," he said sadly.
Jason nodded. "We want to apologize to Alexa," he said.
"Oh." I blinked, them grinned. "Well, then, let's go!"
