Tonight was the night she's been dreading for weeks. The Yule ball, the night where every girl gushes over the importance of being absolutely gorgeous. Meanwhile Ophelia obviously didn't care at all. She was supposed to be taking Cedric, but due to circumstances, she was now taking Draco.
Making her way to breakfast, Ophelia took a seat beside James, giving him a hug. James turned towards the girl, after pulling away from the hug and grinned at her.
"It's been awhile," Ophelia said, "What've you been up to?"
James shrugged, "Found out I was adopted,"
Ophelia smacked a hand over her mouth, "You're adopted?"
"Yeah, apparently my biological mothers name is Adelisa," James sighed, "They wouldn't tell me my fathers,"
Ophelia tilted her head a little bit, "Did they tell you, your mothers last name?"
James shook his head, a frown visible on his lips, "No, but apparently I was named after my mother's, brother,"
"That's a lot to take in. Who are you taking to the ball tonight?" Ophelia asked,
"Estella Payne, I think you share a dormitory with her," James said, taking a bite from his toast,
"Oh yes! I know her, she's very quiet,"
James nodded, "I think you scare her,"
"Me? Scary, that's funny. I'm not that scary am I?"
"I don't know, that face you pul- OW! Okay no you're not scary, STOP HITTING ME!" James winced, rubbing his arm,
Ophelia smirked, "No, I don't think I will,"

Getting ready for the Yule ball was tiring, Estella finally warmed up to Ophelia and was willing to do the girls hair and makeup. Ophelia of course didn't mind, it saved her time and energy for all the dancing.
After her hair and makeup were complete, Ophelia ran herself a bath, careful not to get her hair and makeup wet. One the water was cold, Ophelia for up carefully, and wrapped a towel around her body, and using a drying spell for her hair.
Slipping on her dress, Ophelia looked at herself in the mirror, quite pleased of her look. She couldn't recognise herself, the dark blue eyeshadow made her green eyes pop. The tiara that was placed delicately upon her formal bun was beautiful. And of course she admired how the unique blue dress complimented her hair.
