As the week dragged on, the more broken Ophelia felt. Her once bright eyes were now dull, no light left in them. No matter how hard James and Estella tried cheering up the girl, Ophelia would still be left in tears. Draco found it hard seeing his cousin the way she was, he'd hate to admit it, but it really hurt him seeing her like this.

Today was the day Dumbledore planned a ceremony for Cedric. Ophelia really didn't want to go, she didn't want to say goodbye to Cedric for the last time, Ophelia refused to believe he was gone. Estella has tried all morning to get Ophelia ready for the ceremony, but the girl had locked herself in the bathroom, leaving a defeated Estella standing outside the bathroom door.

Estella had called James in for backup thinking he could help. But no, thirty minutes passed and Ophelia still was locked in the bathroom. James and Estella let out sighs of defeat, moving away from door as they leaned on the wall.

"Ophelia," James whispered, wiping a tear from his eye. It hurt James also seeing his best friend in so much pain, "You don't have to go, but it would be good if you did,"

Ophelia who was on the other side of the door closed her eyes to stop the escaping tears, "I don't want to," Ophelia said, her voice shaking,

"I know you're hurting Ophelia, but please, you need to say goodbye," James sighed, his mood changing when he heard the door unlocked,

Ophelia looked at James, her vision blurred, "I don't want to say goodbye," Ophelia cried, salty tears falling down her face,

Estella looked at James, smiling sadly at the boy, as she walked over to Ophelia, bringing the fragile girl into a hug, "It's okay, I'll stay here with you, you don't have to go," Estella reassured the girl,

James shrunk back onto one of the beds, a sigh escaping his lips, "We'll stay here with you until it's over and we leave for the train," James whispered, getting up from the bed and joining the hug,

"H-he's gone, a-and I don't know what to do," Ophelia sobbed, wrapping her small arms around James. Estella nodded at James as she walked over to her own bed, giving James time to help his best friend,

"It's going to be okay Phelia," James whispered, rubbing her back,

The train whistle blew as everyone was now scattered throughout the train. Ophelia was sat in a compartment by herself, just wanting time to process things. James and Estella sat in a compartment beside hers, just so they could check on her every now and then when they felt it was needed.

Ophelia was lost in thought, that was until Harry came into the compartment, shoving his trunk into the overhead carrier, as he directed Ron and Hermione to join Estella and James. Harry smiled softly at Ophelia before taking a seat across from her.

"You okay?" Harry asked softly, taking one of her hands in a comforting matter,

Ophelia shrugged, keeping her gaze out the window, slipping her hand out of his hold, as she covered her face with her jumper, hiding the tears that were falling down her face. Harry frowned at her actions, he only wanted to help the girl.

"I know Cedric meant a lot to you," Harry sighed, leaning over to remove the jumper from her face, "He told me to give you this, in case anything happened," Harry whispered, reaching into his pocket as he handed her a necklace,

Ophelia looked up, her gaze setting on the necklace, reaching out her shaking hand as she took the necklace, looking at the delicate features. The necklace was gold, with Cedrics initials and a small sapphire gem. "He said it's so you wouldn't forget him," Harry spoke softly,

Ophelia looked at Harry, her eyes wet with tears, "Can you put it on me?" Ophelia asked quietly, holding out the necklace,

"Of course," Harry nodded, taking the necklace in his hand as Ophelia turned around holding her hair so Harry could put in the necklace. With fumbling hands Harry managed to put on the necklace, smiling at Ophelia.

Ophelia smiled, a genuine one, "Thank you Harry,"

"You don't have to thank me, I'm here to help you," Harry smiled, bringing the girl into a comforting hug, "I know the pain you're going through, and I'll help you through it,"

Ophelia wrapped her arms around him, a few stray tears escaping her eyes, "Thank you," Ophelia whispered.
