It was no secret that Grievous disliked bombs, and did his best to stay away from them, and with this secret fear, he, of course, disliked loud noises that are coming from an unknown source.

...Isn't that a great way to celebrate Silvester? *note the sarcasm*

This very thought ran has forced its way out of your head as you stared at your boyfriend who hasn't done anything else than cursing the Jedi for more than half an hour. You just sat on the couch, laughing your butt off.

You loved to listen to his rants. They were almost so amusing, and even though you rarely understood anything because he was ranting in his native langue, it sounded so funny that you couldn't hold your laugh back.

"A-Are you done?", you wheezed, tears literally running down your face from all your laughing. He huffed at you, glaring. "Yes...", he muttered, and walked over to you, sitting down next to you, laying his head on your lap.

"O-Okay.", you giggled, your fingers dancing over his eyelids, careful not to hurt him. "I am so glad that I have come here. Especially since your celebrating this...what is its name again?", he asked and opened his beautiful golden eyes to look at you.

"It's called Silvester, Grievous.", you chuckled, getting into a comfortable position. "Ah yes...Silvester. I still don't get what is so special about it." A loving sigh left your mouth as you recalled one of your favorite times in a year.

"It's the start of a new year. Human's count years. It's 2019 now, but in a few hours...", you chuckled, mentioning to the new Callender that read "2020". Grievous made a deep noise that almost sounded like a groan, but the voice sounded so strange that you weren't sure.

Your hands roamed over his back, smiling. "I don't get what is so wonderful at this useless festival. A mere year passes.", he growled, huffing. "Ah, humans just have strange ways, but it's beautiful.", she purred, rubbing the metal.

You turned your head towards the clock, which read 11:57 pm, only ten minutes left. It was going to happen soon.

" Y/N?", his deep voice forced you out of the world of thinking, and you looked down. He looked at you with curious eyes, knowing something was going on. "You know, Silvester isn't just about drinking and starting a new year, there is something else.", you smirked, your eyes locked on the clock.

You were counting the seconds, feeling your boyfriend's intense stare, knowing, when suddenly, loud, exploding noises echoed through the air and reached your hearing. But before you could explain what it was, the large cyborg had jumped to his feet, his claws grabbing he lightsabers on his hip-plates.

His golden eyes were widened, and he searched for the sources, pure panic shining in his golden orbs. His breathing was fast and ragged. Despite the situation, you snorted, trying to hold your laughter as you until it was impossible.

It echoed through the air and reached his hearing, causing him to turn his head towards and glare dagger at you. "Why are you laughing? We're being attacked!", he roared and mentioned towards one of the windows.

You just shook your head needing a few minutes to get yourself together. "N-No, Grievous. We're not attacked.", you chuckled, wiping the tears on your cheek into your sleeve. "Those are just fireworks."

"Fireworks?", he asked and crocked his head to the side, a gesture you've always adored and loved. He always looked so cute doing so. "Yeah, fireworks, look." You finally stood up and walked towards the window, mentioning him to follow you.

He did, finally deactivating his lightsabers, standing beside you as you pushed the curtains aside.

His beautiful golden eyes widened in shock and wonder as he saw the different colors shining through the sky and loud noises echoed through the air. You smiled as he saw him relaxing, and he took a step closer, opening the window.

You chuckled, setting a hand on his shoulder, before taking a sip from your glass f/d (favorite drink), leaning against his metallic frame. "This is Silvester. Happy New Year Grievous.", you said, watching the wonderful spectacle on the sky.

He slowly turned to you, pressing you tighter to him. "Happy New year, my love.", he whispered, unable to look away.

(I know that Silvester is over, but I'm still going to post this. Happy New Year, my dear readers ^^. (Please don't kill me for not posting so long))
