Grievous grunted as he collapsed on the ground, his claws digging into the metallic surface of the wall of the ship that he was told to check out. He coughed, gasping as he heard another robot beep as it discovered him, it's eye glowing red, ready to shoot lasers at him. He could dodge, but it was close. He panted as he ran, having to jump and climb along the walls since that damned machine continued to shoot at him, trying to kill him with everything it got.
Spotting a large door, he decided to hide from them, hoping that the room behind it suited his plan and that those things were stupid enough. He jumped over a laser and got inside, looking around, trying to find something.
The only problem was, this was not a room...this was a huge hall...or more like a laboratory. The ceiling was higher than party halls of Count Dooku, it was full of those killer robots, some of them glowing, some of them not, and there was another door with "Storage" written across it. On the right side, there was a small area just filled with bottles full of liquids which were all glowing, some of them looking good, some of them looking like the worst poison in the entire galaxy. He was captivated for a short moment but got back to his senses as the robots beeped again, shooting at him. Barely escaping the heat of the laser, he climbed up a pile of their friends, hiding behind them, hoping they were stupid enough.
Unfortunately, they were not.
Very slowly, those intelligent giants were sneaking through the lab, their talons digging into the metallic ground. One of them turned into his direction, beeping to the others that it was going to check this area out. Grievous held his breath, feeling afraid for the first time. He reached for his hips, cursing in his native tongue as he realized that they were not there, that he had lost them during trying to survive from those blasts.
He closed his eyes, praying to gods that it would turn around, that it would just go away, that it would not spot him...and almost as if they answered, a voice echoed through the air.
"Guys? Guys...what are you doing in here?" The cyborg opened his eyes as the words reached his ears and he dared to look through a small area that was not covered by those deactivated bodies. There, in the middle of all robots, stood a woman with the most confused look on her face. She had her arms crossed in front of her chest, her hands covered in black gloves while she wore a typical lab outfit. Her beautiful h/c colored hair was brought to place as she run her hands through it before shooting them all a look. "Did you get bored of guarding the ship? Do you want to creepily watch me work again with a stare that would make everyone piss themselves because your so fucking creepy?", she spoke with a far too enthusiastic voice, and Grievous wondered what the hell she just said.
A robot, the biggest of all, made a deep, beeping sound that almost sounded offended, and a few seconds after that, the woman started to laugh like it just told the best joke in the universe. "Yes, you area creepy, even more creepy than all of them...Well, that is my fault, I ran out of paint when I designed you and so I decided to make you black because I was too lazy to get new one.", she chuckled as she began to walk over to a deactivated body that laid there, ready to be worked on, and out of the cyborg's sight. The robot beeped again, now sounding angry. "Hey, don't get sassy with me, girly. It's not my fault you're like that...okay, it is, but still."
With an offended noise, it turned around and walked out of the room, the smaller ones following it.
The woman laughed and shook her head, continuing her words, unconsciously locking Grievous into the lab. He held still as she came closer again, pulling off a limb before walking back, stumbling over her own feet while doing so, chuckling slightly. She seemed...so happy. Even though there was no one she could talk to...Grievous almost felt sorry for her.
She was a beautiful human. As he dared to change his hiding spot, he finally was able to see her work. Her movements were almost like a dance. They were so fluid. Nothing of the clumsiness he had just seen remained, and she seemed almost like an angle. Only the wings were missing. She was also very distracted, which gave the cyborg hope that he would be finally able to escape. Carefully he stood up sneaked over to the door, just wanting to dash through it, but the woman spoke again.
"I wouldn't try to go out there, f/r/n (female robot name) is pretty pissed and is probably shooting everything down that is moving.", she said and turned around, facing him with the biggest grin he had ever seen. Grievous had frozen with shock, staring at her with surprised eyes. "How...", he wanted to ask, but got interrupted by the happy woman. "Oh, the camera showed me.", she answered and walked straight to him, looking up to him with absolutely no fear in her eyes. "Who are you anyway. No one managed to get through my robots, not even other cyborgs, so I'm quite curious."
Again, Grievous was very surprised. Not only did she figure out that he was a cyborg by first glance, but she seemed completely unbothered by it. He shook his head, forcing himself to sound as he always did. Enraged, on the edge, like he wanted to murder her.
"I am General Grievous. The leader of the droid army of the Separatists.", he spoke, hoping that now, she would show a different reaction.
"Oh, cool! My name's Y/N L/N, crazy scientist and an absolute sucker for robots!"
What in the name of the gods was wrong with this woman?
