Days have passed, and Grievous was finally allowed outside the medical station of the human who worked for the organization called O/N. They led him to a less guarded garden where he could get some fresh air before he had to return to get further treatment. All requests to be release were ignored, and all kinds of resistance were immediately killed by heavy shocks running through his body.
He never saw humans that were this powerful, and he would lie if he told himself that they were not imitating him in any way. As for the person the leader? Grievous never saw you again after the little talk you two had. But he heard a lot about you. The doctors were constantly talking about you, of your accomplishments, your power...of your stand. You were not only respected, but you were also feared.
Being one of the most powerful humans on earth, you were the warlord every world would wish for. You – kind of – liked your people, you were having fun while fighting, and almost no one dared to go against you.
To be honest, Grievous was intrigued by the stories, and he had requested to talk to you. Being a "guest", the request was not denied, so he walked through the gardens, aware that you could come any moment.
And if on cue...
"You requested to see me?" Grievous turned his head towards you. You were leaning against a tree, your leather armor tight against your skin, a gun and a wet cloth in hand. You were smiling coldly, pushing off the rough surface of the tree, walking over to him, seemingly not intimidated at all by his massive size. The cyborg turned his head away to cough, before nodding towards you. "Yes, indeed I have."
You grinned and put the weapon away, walking towards him. You were much smaller, but that didn't seem to bother you. "Why? Do you have any questions?" "No, I am merely intrigued by the stories your soldiers told me about you.", he answered your question, causing you to lift your eyebrow. "Really?"
To say that you were surprised was an understatement. An alien, a cyborg that could literally rip you apart, was intrigued by your old story. Your grin softened. "Why, thank you, dear general.", you spoke, your voice filled with generosity, and mentioned him to walk along with you. "It has been a long time since anybody didn't just compliment me out of fear."
He made a strange sound in what was left in his throat, turning your head into your direction. "The story of how to fight against an army of rebels with only half of your available people, is it true?", he asked, and you chuckled coldly. "Indeed it is. I remember this day well...
(Flashback)
Me and my little army of amateur soldiers that I have brought with me so that they could learn where walking through the woods, searching for those who were foolish enough to hide in there. The walk was long, many of them, including myself, were exhausted, but I still told them to look out for any figures in between the trees.
The rebels were annoying. They were using any opportunity to take us by surprise, and it was no different that day. Some of them suddenly shot, killing two of my youngest soldiers. I opened fire against them, joined by my people, and they were soon death. Since that day, a war started.
As soon as we returned, we got an announcement from E/N (enemy name) that s/he was going to avenge those who had died in the crossfire. The battle would be two days after.
I have many soldiers, a whole empire of them, so I thought that bringing them all would be a waste of resources and people, so I searched a few shooters, fighters and assassins out of them, and formed an army.
The battle was one of the bloodiest I have ever fought in. So many headshots, so many dead bodies I even stumbled over them in the battle, and I have been shot twice. One time on my shoulder, and one time in my right tight. You may see that scar on my shoulder right now.
E/N was in the middle of it, fighting also, a disgustingly smug grin on his/her face as s/he realized that the rebels were doing a good thing. I was angered to the core, and decided to ignore my pain and wound to just finally get rid of him/her.
Grabbing my weapons, I climbed on top of a cliff, shooting, and striking, his/her head. S/he was dead, and we have won. I have lost many good soldiers, but as soon as the leader of the organization was dead, they all died. This is one of my most famous battles.
(Flashback end)
...Since then, there is barely any resistance against us anymore, only those who kidnapped you and another one.", you finished the story with a proud grin, crossing your arms over your chest. He watched you, taking in your expression, your posture, how proud and tall you looked, like a true warlord.
You chuckled at his look before stopping in front of a tree. "A deserved victory, L/N.", he spoke with a surprising amount of respect in his voice, and you could not help but laugh. "Why thank you, dear General. It has been a long time since I have been complimented with pure honesty. Many only compliment me out of fear."
You let your hands run through your hair, closing your eyes for a second to relax. "These gardens...", Grievous started. "I noticed that there is a glass ceiling. Are they natural, or have your people created this?" You sighed deeply and shook your head. "No, they're actually natural. It's one of the few places in this country where land exists. We have decided to protect it from the electrical beams that we sometimes get from the satellites. It harms them."
Grievous made a humming sound. "Does your planet have many plants?", you decide to ask, and watched as a strange sadness came to his eyes. "Yes, it was a planet filled with green and live when I have last been there. I, however, don't know about its condition now. I have not been home for a very long time...not since I am...this.", he spoke slowly, and your eyes lost the proud glint they had earlier.
"Oh...I'm sorry. I didn't know.", you immediately apologized since you knew how it felt to lose everything. You were a warlord, and your friends were soldiers. It was clear that many died right in front of your eyes.
He hummed again and you set a hand on his shoulder. There was silence between you...silence, that immediately was interrupted by a soldier almost numbing into you. "Y/N!", he yelled and grabbed your shoulder, completely ignoring the general's presence. The satellites have detected a very strange signal, and they show a picture of another ship!"
Your eyes widened, and you turned towards the male cyborg. "Have you asked for anyone to pick you up?", she asked, making sure that they didn't attack an ally of your new friend. As she shook your head, you sunk your teeth into your lips and you turned back to your soldier. "Show us the pictures of the satellites."
You mentioned for Grievous to follow you and you turned to walk towards the control room. As you showed the cyborg saw the pictures, you could see that his pupils widened in pure rage and anger. "Jedi.", he hissed, and you turned your head, completely confused by what he said. "What?" "Jedi, those are ships of the Republic and I am sure that there are Jedis on it."
"What the heck is the Republic? And what are Jedi? Are they your enemy?" "Yes, they are!", he hissed, the rage clear in his voice. "So, what are we going to do now?", the soldier asked, turning his head towards you. "Well, since they're our guest's enemy, I think that we'll go against them.", you grinned and looked at Grievous, who had a shocked look in his eyes. "Would you, dear general, help us? I am sure that you could use another ally."
Grievous threw his head back with a laugh and grabbed your shoulders. "Oh yes, I would love to."
