Review: The Alpha internship, which tests your ability as a leader, will be starting in a week and the kids have started practicing. Mora realized that her dependability on Kaiden is getting toxic, so she takes a step back and keeps her distance. Kaiden fears that Mora won't need him anymore which will render him useless and that sends him into panic. They make up and have some sexy times at the hotel.  Kaiden surprises Mora by bringing her to a tattoo shop where she got kidnapped. 

Chapter 34

***Kaiden***

"Mora?" I call out. I could still feel her presence near me, but something was blocking my path. I groan and roll my eyes. "Your jokes are getting worse, Lena."

The faerie laughs as she manifests next to me. She nudges me and takes the pad from Sharon. 

"2 piercing and 2 tattoos. Bold. It's been a while since I saw you around these parts, Alpha Kaiden." Lena's eyes twinkle as she pulls me into a hug.

"Don't patronize me." I pull away from her, and she snickers. "What did you do to my mate?"

Lena gasps and hits my arm. "Get out! You found your mate? Oh my gosh, Kaiden. I'm so happy for you. Where is she?" 

She looks around vehemently. Her body almost floating. I raise an eyebrow and she realizes. 

"Oh, I kidnap her. Silly me. She'll be fine." Lena reassures me. "Just a little glamour. If she's worth my Kaiden, then she can conquer any-"

"Boom!" The wall blows up revealing an angry Mora. She grits her teeth and stares at Lena's hand on my shoulder.

I'm assuming you know this ... woman?. She asks angrily through our bond. I grimace and nod.

She's a friend. I reveal, feeling a sense of crisis. Lena, like all fairies, can be a bit entitled. If you're powerful, you conquer and pillage, but, if if you're weak, you close your mouth and take it.

I'll let her off this time but, the next time she uses magic on me without my permission and teleports me into a maze, I'll end her on sight. She growls softly in my head and I sigh in relief.

"Fucking werewolves! There is a door right there." Lena points at the slightly open door. 

Mora dusts her jacket and walks through the wall pretending she didn't hear Lena. Some of her Alpha Aura leaks out giving her a dangerous vibe. Her sharp glance flits to Lena and she shivers. 

"Oh, Fuck me. Kaiden. You found a good one." She giggles and fixes her top and her hair. She clears her throat and digs her elbow into my side urging me to introduce her.

I sigh but Lena quickly interrupts. "Hey. My name is Elena Borris, a friend of Kaiden. I'm your common fairie and dominatrix. The owner of this gorgeous place." 

She bats her eyelashes and tucks her hair behind her ear. Knowing Lena, she was working a charm to seduce my mate. She reaches out her hand and I lightly slap it.

"Ack!" She pouts and holds her palm to her chest. I tsk. Trying to seduce my mate in front of me? Not happening. 

"Mora, this is Lena, an old friend of mine. Lena, this is my mate, Zamora." I enunciate giving Lena a warning.
